Hm, It's not showing up on my end, did you remember to save the changes? The button is at the bottom of the page! Otherwise, maybe try adding it somewhere else?

Fingers crossed!

No problem, Rene!

Once you click this link and I've confirmed you are indeed the one who did so, I'll add editing permissions!

Looking forward to the theme!

Cordially,

Wisp!

The theme is yours!

I was hoping there'd be a way to send direct messages but it doesn't seem like there is... I'm also uncomfortable with the thought of putting our contact info on a public post, so I was thinking of inviting you to be a collaborator on the next jam? That way you'll be able to update the theme when the jam starts, or if you're busy that day you could put it in a new criteria field, that I'll then remove before the jam.

Otherwise, you could just post it here, and I'll delete the message once I see it. Some participants might see it, but I'm ok with that.

Let me know what you'd prefer!

Cordially,

Wisp!

Hello! You've won the jam (congrats!) and I'm in the process of writing up the next one!

It'll be top down this time, so you can choose the theme, colour palette, or a restriction! The next jam will start September 21st, so let me know! Otherwise, I'll choose from my backup options, so no pressure, get to it when/if you have time/want to.

Ooo, caves! Your grass is tastefully highlighted, and the earth's texture draws the eye! I haven't experimented with slopes quite yet, but props for adding some!

(ty for the feedback!)

Aw, it's cute! Very charming, I particularly like the little fish and vegetation!

Ooo, nicely done! I love the amount of details you put in, and wow you accounted for so many use cases!

Aw, ty! I'm going to aim for once every two or three weeks, with breaks in december and april. So next one will be around september 15th!

Hello! You can use any palette you wish, I just wanted us to have a palette so as to hopefully  avoid choice paralysis. The theme and template are also optional. I'll update the page!

You get one week and a theme/colour palette to make a tileset! My plan is for this jam to be reoccurring, with each iteration having a different theme and type of tileset as focus. This first one will be focused on a sidescroller/no perspective version, but I want to get through hex, triangles, isometric, isometric triangles(?!) top-down, and more! For it to be extra fun, I'm also choosing a theme, because while grass is delightful, there is so much more we could make! Participation would be appreciated, if only because tilesets are really cool and I'd love for there to be more!

Here's a list, feel free to use, and please add!

  • A practical handbook on how not to invade the Earth
  • A villain who succeeded in conquering the world and is now desperately trying to recruit the hero because there's too much paperwork.
  • Two people who hate each others' guts are forced to come at a tea party and be civil, or risk upsetting the local immortal on the block.
  • A day in the life of a diplomat, trying to mediate between kingdoms.
  • Regular person with shockingly bad situational awareness now has to solve a murder investigation. Said individual has no formal training.
  • Local baker is tired of baked goods disappearing from the window sill, decides to follow the thief's tracks deep into the woods.
  • Tired salaryperson is intentionally ignoring every strange and supernatural events in the office. Local creatures are frustrated and mildly concerned.
  • Friendship sim. A dating sim, but the platonic edition
  • An embroiderer selecting what magical charms to add to the nobles' evening clothes. Will client satisfaction be attained or will truer forces prevail?

Have fun!

awwww, it's so cute! There are a great many things that I love, but I think my favourite are the frog portraits! Your art has a very whimsical and cozy feel to it, thank you for sharing it with us!

Oooo, I love the dragon! And I am in awe of your trees, will definitely spend some time studying it!

gasp! You also did stars! :D
Very cute, I especially love your Golem and little gnomes!

aw, thank you!

! I did use very similar colours... Thank you for the catch, I'll add it to the game's to do list!

aww, thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

Oooo! I wasn't expecting to have to add my previous sculptures! Fun gameplay loop, if there's a specific height or amount of objects placed after things scale up that would be useful to know as a player!

I did get the controls to work! However I use a trackpad so I can't climb.

Fun! I think it'd be very nice to have instructions on what every tool does, but otherwise very well done!
