Fun! I spent a lot of time just getting the manager to pose on beat with the music from the title screen! It's a small detail that adds a lot! And the microwaves are all over the place Xd

Once you click this link and I've confirmed you are indeed the one who did so, I'll add editing permissions!
Looking forward to the theme!
Cordially,
Wisp!
The theme is yours!
I was hoping there'd be a way to send direct messages but it doesn't seem like there is... I'm also uncomfortable with the thought of putting our contact info on a public post, so I was thinking of inviting you to be a collaborator on the next jam? That way you'll be able to update the theme when the jam starts, or if you're busy that day you could put it in a new criteria field, that I'll then remove before the jam.
Otherwise, you could just post it here, and I'll delete the message once I see it. Some participants might see it, but I'm ok with that.
Let me know what you'd prefer!
Cordially,
Wisp!
Hello! You've won the jam (congrats!) and I'm in the process of writing up the next one!
It'll be top down this time, so you can choose the theme, colour palette, or a restriction! The next jam will start September 21st, so let me know! Otherwise, I'll choose from my backup options, so no pressure, get to it when/if you have time/want to.
You get one week and a theme/colour palette to make a tileset! My plan is for this jam to be reoccurring, with each iteration having a different theme and type of tileset as focus. This first one will be focused on a sidescroller/no perspective version, but I want to get through hex, triangles, isometric, isometric triangles(?!) top-down, and more! For it to be extra fun, I'm also choosing a theme, because while grass is delightful, there is so much more we could make! Participation would be appreciated, if only because tilesets are really cool and I'd love for there to be more!
Here's a list, feel free to use, and please add!
- A practical handbook on how not to invade the Earth
- A villain who succeeded in conquering the world and is now desperately trying to recruit the hero because there's too much paperwork.
- Two people who hate each others' guts are forced to come at a tea party and be civil, or risk upsetting the local immortal on the block.
- A day in the life of a diplomat, trying to mediate between kingdoms.
- Regular person with shockingly bad situational awareness now has to solve a murder investigation. Said individual has no formal training.
- Local baker is tired of baked goods disappearing from the window sill, decides to follow the thief's tracks deep into the woods.
- Tired salaryperson is intentionally ignoring every strange and supernatural events in the office. Local creatures are frustrated and mildly concerned.
- Friendship sim. A dating sim, but the platonic edition
- An embroiderer selecting what magical charms to add to the nobles' evening clothes. Will client satisfaction be attained or will truer forces prevail?
Have fun!
