Crazy amount of content for a 0 hour game!

Very valid feedback, we felt the ending would've been better around year ~27 but it was too ugly of a number for me 😄

Nice game, one of the few ones in the jam where I actually felt like I was playing a game! However when I realized that every loop it would get more difficult I was shocked, since loop 1 already felt quite hard to me :D. I managed to get to the tank level before dying (how do you deal with that for 5 more loops??). Also, getting thrown back to the first loop is a bit harsh haha. But otherwise great game, love it!

Hahahaha, this is the best comment I've ever received on a game

Real fun game and idea! The controls are wonky but make it amusing to learn

Absolutely true... we didn't get a chance to properly test the game before releasing it :D

But, it makes the game a real challenge to keep the bar as low as possible without killing the flower

Wooo, updates on a game jam game, best devs ever!

The game is fun, I love the visuals and the dialog in the beginning. Very well put together overall, short and sweet =)

Definitely keep on making more!

(P.S. in case you ever want to do another update, the restart button didn't work for me)

Mamma mia, it's controller input only? 🥴

Awesome game!! The only weird things was clicking the mushroom (not really obvious). Other than that, it was great! Mechanics work as intended, nice graphics and music, fun gameplay. Keep it up :D

Whoa, we are super happy to hear that! Thanks a lot for the kind words, we are glad you enjoyed :)

Thanks a lot for the response! We're happy to hear the basic gameplay has a good foundation. We will do our best to improve it as best we can :)

Thanks for coming back and testing for us! Sadly neither of us can reproduce the issue, even if we do weird things like zooming in and out on the page. Maybe it's an issue with some overlay on your screen? I have no idea. We'll keep it in mind though and try to investigate as soon as the error seems to occur for others as well.

Alright, this is my first time posting here, so I hope I do everything correctly.

Me and my friend just released a game for the weekly game jam, with the theme "pilot". This time, instead of going for pixel art, we have used Voxel art, which made our game insanely better-looking than usual. It's actually ridiculous how it looks like a proper game now.

Anyway, the theme is action-puzzle game, with strong emphasis on the puzzle part. If you are someone who enjoys a good puzzle, I really recommend checking this game out. I have spent so many hours designing levels, and the last levels are beautiful (even if i say so myself). It starts off easy, and then gets very difficult very fast.

You can try it for yourself here: https://winnie33.itch.io/missed-the-plane

Thanks for reading my post and hope you enjoy it :D

Thanks a lot about the nice and in-depth feedback! We are already considering releasing a mobile version (although coming up with levels might be an issue - the later levels here already took several hours to develop).

It would also indeed have been a sweet submission for the GMTKjam, a shame I had work then.

Thanks for mentioning technical issues too. The tag is something we didn't catch yet, we'll try to remove it. We can't seem to reproduce the restart issue though, do you have any steps to get it to happen?

If you have any other feedback, feel free to let us know! :)

Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed it!

(1 edit)

Thanks for the nice feedback! You're definitely not the noob, the difficulty goes up very quickly. We didn't have any time left over to make more easier levels. It's a lot more satisfying to get the harder ones though  ;)

Pretty neat game! It's nice how you convey the colors without having to explicitly show them to the player. It would be fun to see the score of others too, so you know whether you did good.

As i was playing this i was slowly coming to the realisation of what kind of game this was. At first I didn't believe it, thinking "would he...? No, surely not, there's so much good art shown" but after a while it became clear. :p

Great game and humor!
