I liked this game. You did a good job of making simple puzzles that keep the player engaged. The room with the fans could use some visual cues so that we can tell if they are active or not. I've also noticed that if you get hit by the fans and don't end up touching the spikes, you get locked into facing one direction. The enemies at the end can detect you through walls, and that can easily lead to 100% game over scenarios. I think those areas could use a slightly different level design so that doesn't happen. I was pleasantly surprised you added the voice; it did a great job of making the game more engaging. Overall, I thought you did a great job, and I look forward to what you make in the future!
This is a really good game! I think there may be a slight language barrier, so dialog is a little off, but I could still understand the plot very well. You did a great job of putting an emotional story into a short game! The gameplay in the beginning was simple, and that worked very well because players weren't given any instructions on how to play. By the time I figured it out completely, it was time for the next combat system, this was perfectly timed because the 1st combat system begins to get boring after you completely understand it. The 2nd combat system was skill based and had a detailed tutorial for the players. I really like how this was done, it made the game go from discovering and understanding mechanics, to mastering a super fun and engaging combat system. The sounds effects and music were also great and made the game feel rewarding and engaging. Overall, I loved it and look forward to what you make next!
Well, for starters, this was made in unity, so I'm pretty sure it's disqualified. After walking around the area where you start the game I came across a goblin that was defeated in one hit. My first thought after that was, "is that all? I guess the enemies on this level are just going to be annoying..." Almost immediately after that I had another random encounter with 3 enemies this time, 1 goblin and 2 imps. They proceeded to kill my character, who started at full health, in that one turn. This my second encounter, and it happened in the area that you spawn in. I had no way of winning that fight, and there was no way that I could have known that the enemies would be so strong, especially after that weak first encounter. The shops didn't have any background art, just a black background. When I went to buy equipment, I had no way of knowing if it would be stronger than my current equipment. This game needs more development and fine-tuning, but it has the framework to be a much better game!
