The problem with asking about enjoyment is that I don’t usually play jrpg games. I learned a lot about them playing this game.

I played through the end twice.

I think the dev has a very good grasp of the engine and the theme for this game jam. The game shows that, despite the fact it’s the dev’s first game jam, he has very good writing, map making and eventing skills. He also created the Character busts.

My only niglet is that I think the intro is too long for those wishing to get to the game play.

Full disclosure I was a play tester for the game. I only hope my first game is of this quality.

I see two versions available for windows. Do I need both? Also if I get the Lifetime, do I get updates, for how long. How am I notified they are available? Thanks. This looks quite useful.

I’ll go with intentional, but only because I didn’t know better. :-)

I may have misunderstood your comment. Did you mean there was a duplicate dialog displayed (bug) OR too much dialog before something awesome occured?

It’s best to board the boat by clicking it when next to it. Then sail to the middle structure, offload at base of steps. Then go down the “repeating” stairwell until you’ve had enough of that. Go down steps at top left…

Thanks, It’s the least I could do. :-)

Thanks for playing and catching the animation “bug”. Turns out after I added Wilbur to the party with: Change Party Member : Add Wilbur I also needed to add: Set Movement Route : Player Walking Animation ON Stepping Animation ON

Not sure what the “Reupload” policy is after submission… There’s more to add.

Definitely some kinks. :-) It was easier to implement the humorous dialogue than the mechanics. I learned a lot though being my first attempt. Thanks for looking.

Very nice. I really never played a JRPG, though I have the engine. Excellent dialogue, keeping in tone with the vibe. I’ll have to come dive deeper when I have time. Thanks for the game.

This is very nice, clean, simply recognizable. Like the horror reference I “earned” on first play through. This being my first jam it’s interesting to see what can be done with RPG Maker. If buy “useless skill”, one means playing the game, that’s why I gave 5 stars for theme. The cat’s napping skills probably serve a purpose in it’s life. Thanks for the game.
