Just played this for the first time today, after discovering it, what, four months ago when I watched *one* clip of it on youtube and nothing else?

Excellent game. Didn't realise that you could actually check crafting recipes that use a particular material until I'd died twice already. The deaths are brutal. The controls are a little annoying (but let's be honest, so are the controls for real life). The setting is cool. What could be better?

All in all, it gives me Noita vibes, especially with the layer mechanics, and it being mostly open-world apart from that, assuming you can manage to get elsewhere. It also feels a little bit rain-world-y but much less so than it does feel like Noita. Will continue to play for a while.

You can find the keybinds menu in the bottom right of the main menu, but...

I don't think it's implemented yet. It didn't work when I tried to use it.

This is an outdated method and no longer works, nor should it really have worked in the first place; it was a bug, as far as my investigation has gotten me.

There should be other ways to run the game in the LINUX USERS PLEASE READ readme (I think that's what it's called, didn't check specificially for this comment), which shouldn't have this issue. Additionally, here's a copy of another comment I made about 2 months ago about this issue:

Hi! Whotooed here. You might know me from: the girl who discovered you can play this game by opening index.html in the www folder on linux.

I'm here today to tell you that you shouldn't, in fact, do that. The whole reason it works is because RPGMaker MV is sort-of, kind-of, a browser-based game engine, and opening index.html creates a local http server on your device that serves the files within www. To put it simply, it's a bug. And if you try to use it with another game (by, for example, opening the www folder in terminal and using the command "python3 -m http.server") then it might get stuck on Lust Doll Plus and make you unable to play either one properly without bugs when you use this method.

Trust me. I've lost my save data for both this game and also Violated Princess because of this.

Instead, please update nw.js manually to v0.45.6 using the method and link found in LINUX USERS PLEASE READ.txt (alternatively this link also works to find the download).

So, as another alternative method so that I can still maybe have the prestige of my name being mentioned in the LINUX USERS PLEASE READ.txt file, this is a very good piece of software I've found for playing RPGMaker games. Just make sure to set it to use v0.45.6 of nw.js by:

1. Downloading it with

wget -qO- "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bakustarver/rpgmakermlinux-cicpoffs/main/installgithub.sh" | bash

2. Running

rpgmaker-linux --nwjsversion 0.45.6

to install nw.js 0.45.6 as part of its available versions.

3. Opening the windows version of Lust Doll Plus (the .exe) by right clicking and using the Options variant of it and setting it to run with v0.45.6.

4. Finally, you can use it with Lust Doll Plus by opening the .exe with the other variant of it (cicpoffs mount), or you can keep going through its options menu every time if you're a masochist, and like pressing F10 to turn off the cheats menu that opens in the top right.

You never betrayed her! The Don is just mean, sending spies to trail you!

Additionally, the next part of her route is breaking her out of there. Good luck!

Alright, that's everything I had to say. Thank you very much for making this game, Indivi! I'm still playing each time you update it!

Played it through. Very fun; I ended up going magic on metre, shrink-ray on millimetre and slicer on micrometer.

I bought mine, have you bought yours?

It truly was.

Bug report!

If you've become a true succubus, the wings and tail float in the air below you when feeding Pixie's 'pets.'

This comic is marvelous, I hope chapter 3 gets uploaded some point soon!

Oh, that would be just darling, thank you!

Ditto; it seems very interesting, but it's not available on either linux or android, the two platforms I use for gaming.

That was a darling game; I very much enjoyed it.

Compliments:

- Alicia's design is just marvelous.

- The method of exorcism seems quite accurate.

Complaints:

- Who names their kid Beaford?

Magnificent.

This is what I feel absurdism is about; not denial, railing against and despairing at the idea that there is no meaning to life and no way to get away from that fact, but the acceptance of it and the decision to live out your life anyway.

This game, despite claiming to, does not have a linux port. I can't even get it to work with wine.

Cool! Good to know.

How come it's marked as working on linux if there's no linux port?

Wine is a separate thing, and it shouldn't be marked as having a linux port even if it works with wine.

What exactly does the Charm spell do?

Attempted to run the game with wine on Linux Mint Cinnamon, but it does not start.

Scratch that - it does have bugs. Basically, this means that it runs fine on a  low-end dual core laptop, the bugs I'm experiencing are probably because I'm on linux.

Using linux mint with wine on a laptop.

OS: Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon

CPU: Dual core 2.2 GHz ( Intel Celeron )

RAM: 8GB

GPU: Intel Geminilake

There's no lag or framedrops, but it runs like I'm playing at 0.5x speed. Still impressive for a game running on this thing with wine, compared to a lot of games on itch which either don't run or have bugs when run on linux with wine.

I have the answer! To run the game, you actually need to go into a folder within the files and use the "index.html" file. It took me way too long to figure this out, but I hope it can also help someone else who wants to play RPG maker games on linux.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to run the linux version of this game. Which one of these files is the executable that I need to run? Why is the most likely one (named "Game") missing a file extension?
