Really cool and fun little game! I had great fun playing it!

I think that everything about it is really solid! I liked the music and the art! And I also really liked the interpretation of the theme!

I even managed to get up until the 5 round!

Though I do have some critiques. First of all, I didn't really understood what was the goal of the game. From what I did understood, the player is trying to get to the final round (round 12) and pop the big firework? To be honest I wasn't really sure what exactly was my goal.

Also I another thing I didn't really understand was how the shop worked and how the launches left system worked. For the shop I felt like it showed up sometimes, while others it didn't. I am not sure if that was the intended behavior or I just didn't understood correctly. I though it usually show up after every round (or every time I launched my bombs), when in reality it showed up only sometimes. And as for the launches system, this is something that I really didn't understood at all. As I said I lost at the 5 round, and I was little bit surprised as to why I had lost (then I realized I was out of launches)

In other words, I feel that the game would have benefited a lot from a short tutorial in the start. Explaining the basic systems. Though I totally understand that, that was not probably possible due to the short time frame. Especially taking into consideration that you made the game alone! (Which is really impressive!)

I would also like to add that I think that the numbers that show up when you launch your bombs could be a little bigger. I felt that they were quite small and didn't give as much of that "pop" feeling they could have!

Regardless I think this is a really cool little game! I had great fun with it and I can really see the great amount of work that was put into it!

Great Job!

Haha what an awesome little game! I loved my time playing it! I had a ton of fun!

I spend a lot of time farming all of the ducks for their feathers and bought all of the upgrades. So when I got to the final boss I killed it in the first 1 and a half seconds!

The art is really nice! The music is really good and the sound effects are awesome they really sell that shooting sound! I also really liked the implementation of the theme! It was a really smart idea to make a shooter where you have limited bullets!

A big highlight for me was also the weapon upgrade (where you upgrade to a sniper!) I think it was really cool!

As for some critique, I think the two things that I would have suggested adding are shadows benefit the animals and player (I feel that it would make them feel a little more as "a part of the world" so to speak) and I would have also liked maybe a custom crosshair, I think it would have added a lot!

Regardless I really loved this game! You did an awesome job!

Thanks a lot for the kind words! I appreciate it!  =)

Thanks a lot for the kind words and the suggestions! I really appreciate! I will keep it in mind for future projects and designs!

Sadly though this time I didn't really have the time to add a lot of stuff. The game was mostly made in a single day (I spend some hours the last day making the sound effects and music), as I wasn't able to work on the game for the 2 other two day of the jam!

Thank you for you comment!

Really enjoyable experience! I really liked the art, and the interpretation of the theme! The sound design was also superb and I really like all of the sound effects, they fit like a charm!

I don't really have any strong critiques for the game, I have to say that you did a really good job explaining the mechanics in the start! One thing that did bother me a little though was the timing. I feel that some times I missed the parry window by just a small fraction. I feel that a little more leniency towards the input timing would have helped a little.  ( I was struggling a little with the timing as in the start I was pressing the input button at the end of the 1 second and not 0).

I feel that also the game could have been a little faster, making the player act faster rather than "wait out" the countdowns.

Regardless, I think the game is great and I can see all of the work and effort that was put into it! Good Job!

Thanks a lot for playing my game and for all the constructive  criticism. I will keep it in mind for the future, and remember to give some breathing space to the player at the start of the game!

Thank you!

Really beautiful game! I really liked the art style and the interpretation of the theme! The music was really good too!

Though I do have some pointers and small critiques I would like the share!

First of, I am not really sure if this is something that game does, but I felt that my mouse cursor was moving a lot faster than it usually does. I don't really know why, but that had as a result me struggling with precisely hitting the buttons, as usually my mouse cursor moves a little slower.

Another problem I had was that I personally didn't fully understood, what I had to do (though that is completely on me as I didn't read the description). It actually took me quite a while to understand that I was supposed to click the numbers from 10 to 1 and not for 1 to 10.

After understanding what I had to do though, I had a lot more fun with the game and I found it really enjoyable. I would like to point out that it was a little difficult for me to understand what I had to do in certain levels (the first time I came across them) which resulted in me losing some runs! (But from a design perspective I totally get it, as I could consider the game a rogue-lite)

Regardless I can see that a ton of work and passion was put into this game! And I have to say that is made for a pretty enjoyable experience! Great job!

Really nice and small game, it was quite enjoyable! I really liked the art and the cut scenes as well as the audio!

Though to be honest I felt that the game didn't really had any challenge maybe some obstacles like spikes or cave creatures to avoid could have been good additions. Also I didn't fully understand what I was meant to do, and I felt that I didn't really have a direction to dig towards too, or to go! I was also a little unsure of why I should spin the wheel, while I didn't understand that the boss would come after you if you abandon it for long enough, I personally never got to that point.

Overall though, I have to say it was a really good game. I can see that a lot of work and effort was put towards it! Great Job!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to leave a comment, and for you feedback! It is something that I will for sure try to improve upon in the future, sadly for this jam I didn't have the time and energy to properly prototype and play test the game, but I will for sure true my best next time!

Thank you for your insight!

Haha thanks a ton for the kind words! I really appreciate it! You seem really awesome too!

What an amazing game! The music and the visuals are incredible! And the interpretation of the theme is amazing!

It was really fun and enjoyable experience and I would love to see this game eventually having a full on release, you didn't an amazing job!

Lastly I would like to say that while the game was amazing I feel like it would have benefited from having some kind of voice sound effects when the characters talk in order for them to feel a little more alive. And personally I would have preferred to be able to click on the text in order for the characters to continue their speech (right now I believe it was done automatically after a time period), as I did have a problem sometime catch up to what they were saying!

Again though, an awesome game, I really enjoyed it! Great Job!

Hello and thank you for your comment! The idea behind the spinning aspect was that you play as a ball that rolls or in other words spins around.

I know that, that isn't really innovate and doesn't really fit the theme all that well, as a rolling ball is quite generic. Though sadly I was having a hard time coming up with a better idea for the jam, so I went with this!

Thanks a ton for the reply and for your constructive feedback, I really appreciate it! In the future I will for sure try to plan out my games better and for sure invest more time into finding a good idea and properly prototyping. Thank you for your insight!

This game is amazing! I love the art style as well as the music design and the interpretation of the theme! The character feels extremely responsive and it is really fun to move around and use the movement mechanics!

I also really enjoyed all 3 of the boss fights! They were really well design and they all felt unique in there own way!

The only thing that I didn't really understand was what the power up did in the secret room, though I totally understand that due to the time limit, there was maybe no more time to implement something.

Overall an amazing game, and I would love to see it eventually have a full release! Great job!!

I really like the starting cut scene as it was well put together! I also really enjoyed the art as well as the sound effects!
Though sadly I would say that the main mechanic of the game is a little unresponsive and I feel like I have way little control over it.

Overall though it was pretty good game, and a fun experience! Great Job!

Really nice game! I really liked the art style and the music it was great! I also really liked the idea of the game, though sadly I find it a little bit hard to navigate the levels even after sometime I still didn't really understood how to properly utilize the mechanics!

Overall though, I can see that a lot of work and passion went into this! A great game overall, you did a really good job!

Quite and enjoyable experience! I really liked the lasso mechanic and I had great fun with it! I also really liked the art as well as the music, they were really decent. I would like to say though that certain the upgrades did feel a little insignificant or didn't really explain that well what they do.

Overall though a really good game! Great Job!

A really nice small game! I had quite some fun playing it and it was for sure and enjoyable experience! One thing I would suggest adding is the ability to hold on of the movement buttons ( A for left or D for right) to move, without having to press the button a lot of times!

I can also say that I quite enjoyed the art style as well as the music! Overall a really good game! Great Job!

Thanks a lot for the reply! Sorry to hear that you didn't fully enjoy the game. Do you have any advice so that I can improve in the future?

Anything that stood out to you?

Thanks a lot for the kind word!

I really nice game! I like the interpretation of the theme and the graphics and audio are really decent! I would like to say though that  at certain times I felt like the ball was going a little too fast resulting in me not being able to easily position myself in order to fit into smaller spaces.

Generally though, it was really enjoyable experience! Great job!

I really nice and small game! I liked the art style direction as well as the music it was really nice!

I do have some suggestion about the game though. Firstly the first jump of the tutorial cannot really be done without the propeller and because the tutorial for the propeller comes after the jump, the only really way to continue is to feel down from the main platform in the start. I would also like to suggest adding a little more ice cream around the level, or resting the ice cream amount every time the player dies, as I did get stuck because I run out of ice cream!

Overall though, a really good game! I can see that a lot of work went it too it! Great Job!

The sound design of the game is awesome and adds a lot to the game feel, in combination with those simple yet elegant graphics.

Though I have to say that making micro shooting adjustment was pretty difficult resulting in me getting hit a lot of times. I would suggest making the turn mechanic a little smoother so that the player can do really small micro adjustments to hit the target with precision.

Overall though a great game! Really enjoyed it! Good Job

Thanks a lot for the feedback and the kind words! I will do some slight adjustments to improve it! Thank you!
