Ive been enjoying the game quite a bit, battles are quite engaging, the characters crack me up (rat girl is incredible), and the serious moments... are actually pretty nice? just got the canoe, and decided to share some potential bugs I encountered:
- In the sick girl side quest, the completion cut-scene plays if you rest at the inn until night, which makes the quest unable to be completed. I think it can only happen if you select 'yes' for the last round of treatment, but don't have the ingredients needed.
- The slither shield does not bestow slow sweep strike like the description says.
- During the cabin in the woods quest, in the ryan section after solving the wall and doll puzzles, the stairs to back the first floor reappear, making it possible to skip the fireplace and have the sidequest permanently appear in the journal as incomplete.
- Additionally, on the top floor of the cabin with the summoning circle, you can pass through the stained back wall and walk on the top of the room border.
- In the ticket trader's house, the wife seems to able to give you her pool of items indefinitely without having to leave the house or any sort of cooldown.
I may have channeled my inner winter andcheesed this for a couple thousand gold - The chaotic ring seems to randomly give the user TP. I assumed this was a balance to account for the AI's inability to ration TP intelligently. However, equipping it alongside the ring of degeneration seems to make it proc the degen ring's health drain multiple times in a row, often causing the wearer to just instantly die from full health, or even when the battle begins. this behavior only goes away when you unequip both, and unfortunately seems to have given the chaotic ring a permanent health degeneration effect if you re-equip it.
- The golden egg only heals one party member and not all of them as the description indicates.
- Not necessarily an error, judging from the red dialogue hints, but in the Coming Home main quest, you can pass the quest event triggers by trying to go home via the church warp circles. I'm not sure if the walking into the event triggers backwards breaks anything though, as I warped straight back after going to ryan's house only to see nothing happen.
- The Equalizer Cape makes spells free instead of 1 mp like the description says.
- on the fire side of the volcano dungeon, its pretty easy to softlock yourself in the room with several boulders
- A few ice elemental monsters from the forest monument dungeon seem to take more damage from ice spells instead of less.
- The spellblade ruins shopkeeper seems to only sell the swords and not the armor you can make there.
