This game somehow convinced me that kissing furniture is a completely reasonable thing to do. I don't know how you pulled that off, but I respect it.

I came here expecting a cozy cooking game... instead I got childhood trauma simulator. Amazing atmosphere!

One of my favorite things was how the game never made me feel like I was randomly guessing. Every little discovery made the next one easier, and it was really satisfying to slowly learn the language. I'd love to see this expanded after the jam!

This is so cute!! Very intuitive gameplay, pleasant atmosphere. You touched me very much ToT

This is very nice!!! Thank you for this gaming experience. Tell a short story in two minutes, intertwining it wonderfully with the theme of the jam. You're great, this game really cheered me up (╥ ω ╥)づ♡

Beautiful game, with great monster designs. It is well balanced and feels like it has a gradually increasing level of difficulty. As soon as I started playing, I thought that I needed to stay in the red zone and it would gradually decrease like in battleroyal, but after the first round I realized that this was not the case xd

The game is really well made. The levels were difficult, I gradually adapted to them, it was noticeable that each trap was in its place. Competent platforming with attention to detail, such as the fact that the game forgives a small step over the edge of the platform before jumping. The only thing that confused me is that some walls that look like normal ones caused damage, a little unintuitively, but over time I got used to it.
I wanted to know if, at level 6, when I ran to the finish line I returned to the beginning, was that intended or did I do something wrong?

really cool creepy atmosphere! pixel art is impressive and the story pulled me in. i'll be honest, that singing part genuinely got me lol. took me a bit to understand what i was supposed to be doing early on though, a quick tutorial would go a long way here. ran into a bit of a snag once i finished the papers where i wasn't totally sure what to do next, but overall solid horror vibes and nice work for the time crunch!!

really impressed by the scope of this game, solitaire AND a bot-building system in a jam?? that's wild ambition xd the frog art is soo cute, everything feels really polished, the card animations and sounds are super smooth too. took me a sec to notice the redraw button and figure out you can play the same card on the countup pile lol, but once it clicked i was hooked. racing the bots is such a fun idea, even though i think luck of the draw got me a couple times haha. honestly great work pulling all this off before the deadline, love it 🙌

really cool style, def get those superhot vibes with the slow-mo and the look of it. took me a bit to figure out the combat though, wasn't clear at first that you actually attack with lmb/rmb and some of the qte dodges need you to mash the button not just press once. bit rough without a tutorial but once i got the hang of it it was pretty fun beating people up to pay off debt lol, funny concept for the theme. solid work! very nice project!!

i like the concept, cool way to show addiction to cigarettes, but i didn't really get what to do besides smoking and wandering around the rooms unfortunately. the visuals and aesthetic are gorgeous though, sound design too, and honestly really creative overall! it brings up some sad thoughts and reminds you how lonely you can feel, even in a small game like this. cool entry! really unusual experience!

thank you) cats are very chill, so you couldn't be stressed)

Thank you. it motivates me to get better)

next time there will be even more meta and even more polished) thanks for the warm comment

It's nice to read this, especially from the author of a game that I really enjoyed)

It's great to see people who share our preferences. Thank you for playing. Come see our game again next time)

xddd, I felt the same way when I was writing a typing game. thank you so much for the kind words

Thanks) What is there to surprise you with next time?(ᵕ•_•)

thank you, it's a pleasure to read! I will definitely pass on your words to our artist, if he hasn't read it himself)

I thought about life while I was walking to the right. An hour later the existential crisis began.

just played this one - the twist at the end genuinely got me, didn't see it coming even though looking back the hints were all there. art style is really pretty, gives the whole thing a nice atmosphere. music fit the mood well too. would've loved a bit more choice or interactivity along the way, but the writing carried it hard regardless, kept me hooked till the end. really solid work for the timeframe, hope to see the full release! great job!

laying hot potato russian roulette with a bomb in a nightclub is honestly such a fun idea for a card game! dj semtex still headbanging on the floor even after getting knocked out completely got me lol. the lighting and audio set such a good vibe too! really hope you guys end up turning this into a multiplayer game!

for some reason this really reminded me of mike klubnika's "buckshot roulette". it really gives off that same vibe and honestly might even be better in terms of tension!

love the old retro atari vibe and art style! playing as a bomb cat is super fun, but getting hit out of nowhere by a fast bus made me laugh so hard lol. got such a unique feel from the controls, feels like i played a super popular old 2009 flash game on some cute site where games about cute cats are a bit less harmless than the cats themselves xd. really loved the controls and difficulty balance, taking a few tries really helps you learn and get more confident controlling the character. the game definitely isn't meant for bad players like me, but i LOVED it! awesome work!!

using countdowns as the actual mechanics for platforms and doors is great idea! puzzles get pretty tough, and sometimes waiting out the 5 second timers feels a bit slow, but overall really fun entry! also cool easter egg with the gmtk logo on the numpad! nice work!

cool concept and really good game! i felt like a cat detective, at first i thought i'd never figure out what to do, but over time everything became clear and easy. great art, music, and sfx, crazy amount of work for 4 days. congrats on a cool game, good luck! the fact that these are BOMBS adds so much tension and stress, and the ticking timer creates so much pressure, which is exactly what i expected!

such cute and nice graphics! can't believe it's even possible to make art like this, it's awesome! super pretty and i love that someone made a platformer that's SO beautiful and actually fun to play too. great job!

WOW! those circle enemies had me panicking real quick lol. awesome that you made all the music and sfx yourself too, great work! i didn't remember about the phone mechanic right away, but as soon as i did it got way easier. thought it'd be easy at first but those circles were the real challenge xd. really fun, cute and simple game. the only thing is it's kinda inconvenient opening the phone for the camera or compass - would be nice to have a shortcut key for the photo attack or a minimap for the compass, but those are minor details! i love the minimalism and simplicity, feels like this game could've been huge back in the online .io games era lol. the upgrade variety surprised me a lot too! i'm not the best player but my high score is 2:33 and i'm pretty proud of it :)

having an input counter where every single keypress counts makes you really think through your moves. figuring out the puzzles like dragging and jumping on the box took some thought. totally get that the W key fix for falling over was a rush job for the jam, but overall a really interesting puzzle concept. nice work!

such a cozy and relaxing clicker game. love the low poly 3d models! completely zoned out clicking and forgot about the doomsday lol. really nice vibe and charming visuals, great job!

 really fun entry! like it!

great puzzle game!

the art style in this game is genuinely insane! those particle effects and the way things materialize when you look at them look so cool. gave me huge the witness or talos principle vibes with the whole quiet atmospheric feel. really incredible job on the visual direction!

playing this right after finishing a jam hits so different. cool story screens and a solid advertisement for why everyone needs to use git. great work on your first game!

cute art, and carrying multiple chickens at once making you drop them is a cool high risk mechanic lol. simple but super catchy core loop, nice work!

love the cute pixel art and having a bunch of different minigames to solve under time pressure keeps it super engaging. also i'm pretty sure everyone tried typing BRAINY on that first puzzle lol. nice job on the game!

i'm not really a great player but i managed to just spam attacks at the center and skip all 4 phases straight to the 5th, which made me happy since i'm honestly terrible at these kinds of games xD. really cool experience, the game feel honestly feels like a full-on boss fight from a hard game. great balance, glad i played this, thanks for the entry and congrats on a cool game!

making a game where you're literally the countdown yourself is a really clever take on the theme. also huge respect for writing this in c++ with raylib in just 4 days, that's definitely no joke for a jam project. really cool that you made all the sprites and sfx yourself from scratch too. nice work on the entry!

gonna be honest, i did NOT expect a jam game to actually open my browser tabs lol. trying to search up answers on Wikipedia while panicking to keep the balloons floating before the timer ran out was absolute chaos in the best way possible. the crt shader looks super nice too and the computer actually has a ton of personality. really cool concept, definitely gonna remember this one

super satisfying puzzle game! movement feels insanely smooth, clever concept. the tutorial blurbs were hilarious and made learning the mechanics a blast. props for pulling that final level together right before the deadline too! awesome work!

At first when I opened the game, I thought "Ahh it's another work-after-work kind of game", but when I let it cook, surprisingly, the game felt really engaging! Didn't regret a single minute playing it. I loved everything - from controls and movement to the content (music, low poly 3d models, conversations, etc)
