Hi! I just released Player Comfort Kit 4.7, an editable GDScript source kit for Godot 4.7.x:
https://wesujs.itch.io/player-comfort-kit-47
It packages a reusable runtime settings scene, defensive ConfigFile persistence, a responsive dark UI, and a complete demo. The included controls cover video, four-bus audio, five palette starting points, scalable text, player-comfort and caption preferences, input preferences, and three local preset slots.
The reusable layer applies generic Godot settings directly and emits one integration signal for project-specific systems such as cameras, effects, subtitles, and input.
Version 1.0.0 was parsed and launched with the official Godot 4.7.1 Windows editor. I also checked fresh-extracted startup, persistence, presets, theme changes, true mute-at-zero audio, initial keyboard focus, and the contents of the release ZIP.
Important scope: the palette presets are starting points, not color-vision correction. This is not accessibility certification and does not replace testing a finished game with disabled players and its intended assistive technologies. The current release does not include C#, input remapping, translations, or a playable export.
Generative-AI assistance was used for portions of the GDScript, documentation/product copy, the simple vector mark, and programmatic UI design. The screenshots are direct captures of the included Godot project.
The launch price is $7.99 or more. Technical integration questions and reproducible bug reports are welcome.
