Beny, I know you might not see this or be able to reply (Mr. Valley is locking the forums later today) but... congratulations.

polybius was an urban legend of an arcade machine that hypnotized people. idk, it might be related. even if not its a pretty fun deep dive
but they're pretty similar. they both had spiralling or "hypnotic" visuals and very little information about them (honestly with how much info you guys have managed to pull up about the ito machine im surprised its not more popular than polybius, which is pretty much built off rumors) . they also share the headache/hallucination-inducing factor.
interestingly though polybius was (supposedly) released in 1981 which is before the junji ito machine would have existed (i think, i need to do more research). so maybe the ito machine was some kind of spiritual successor?
so yeah. not sure if this is at all useful but i wanted to provide info on it just in case. ill probably interact with these forums more, so its nice to meet you all.
ever since finding out about it ive had this clear image in my head of it having a spiral trap as the centerpiece. not sure how to describe it accurately (im not well-versed in pinball lol) but kind of like what BenyDanette found here, but with a spiral pattern.
I've been lurking here for around two weeks but my silence ends now.
Something horrible happens at the end of february . I don't know what but it's connected to this whole mess. I keep having dreams where I see countdowns to February 28th. It always ends in spirals.
I probably sound paranoid or insane but aren't you too? How long have you spent, questioning everything you see? You can't tell if it's a sign or just a coincidence when you see that spiral, reflected in the metal of an old rusty trash can. So you dig into it anyway, hoping to find something. The scraps of metal cut your skin, but the wounds are spirals, so is it that bad? Spirals are what you're looking for, anyway, so maybe you did find something worthwhile. Or maybe it's all a stupid metaphor. Or this is just crazy rambling, and this post will be forgotten.
Well. It's not like we can leave this rabbit hole. I guess we'll just enjoy the downwards spiral.
