Version 17 and I still notice weird issues. Currently all joined buildings are removed on load and continue, backdrop is not stored in save game and the joined big fountain is really blurry/pixelated.
I guess trains stay untouched until all other issues are fixed. I hope to see the reason for the trains getting stuck on cornes make into an upcoming video.
Ah finally I was able to continue building, but one of the updates seem to have broken the trains...
Trains don't make a sound when leaving the depot, trains can't take curves (mine got stuck), created trains aren't saved (therefore they also don't save their cargo) and don't leave the depot automatically when loading the map.
And eraser is bugged as well, when the build menu is open and I click on the eraser and then click on a building in the menu again, the eraser button in the tool box is still active, when I click it to make it inactive my cursor changes to the eraser and button is reversed until I click a building again when the cursor is set to eraser.
Just a few minutes in and i already found some spectacular bugs, build a yellow trainstation with tracks to the right and then build that farm house that connects when placed next to each other with one empty grid inbetween. As soon as they connect the train station gets destroyed.
Things flying over the screen on an empty map are way too frequent, the game doesn't pause when opening the tool box, and clicking on the buttons in the toolbox twice to open and close a menu the icon disappears, until it is reopened and closed with the X on the bottom again.
If you still didn't made it past the cauldron, here's a hint to continue:
All ingredients have backgrounds, 3 of them have the same, clicking them will move you to the next screen.
Glad you liked the recordings, I didn't even believe it was possible. Recording, cutting and implementing was done in an impossible time frame on the final day, right before I had to go to work because of course it was the same day there was Sunday shopping (Verkaufsoffener Sonntag)
The musical part was amazing and hooked me more than the amount of text that needed to be read.
Especially because some colours were pretty hard to read.
Moving or removing the player text when talking to someone would have been nice, instead it was crammed into the top left corner. Putting it center top or center bottom is actually pretty easy.
And I guess the last scene matches the "back again" theme somewhat.

You can really see that most time went into the art part with lots of frame by frame animations.
First music track was really loud, and then it just stopped and talking with the boy was in complete silence.
But what i disliked the most: Narrator text, info and dialogue options use the same scroll background, it really broke the immersion for me, it would be rellay nice to see them as speech bubbles around the scarecrows head.
Ein Spiel in richtigem Deutsch? Und dann auch noch so schön geschrieben? Das sieht man selten. Was mir besonders gefällt, ist das für alle, die das Spiel auf Deutsch spielen, der erste Tagebucheintrag mehr Gewicht hat. Hier kann man eindeutig von "lost in translation" sprechen, da sich "dieselbe" nicht 1:1 übersetzen lässt, ist im Japanischen ähnlich, "ore" und "watashi" sind beides mal "ich".
Falls das Projekt hier nicht direkt stirbt, sollte es auch bei tfgames hinterlegt werden für mehr Reichweite.
