You're probably better now, but priorize your health first! Unless it's just a common fever and you've already gotten better / the clinic is expensive to do any kind of treatment, even if it's simple. About the Itch.io payment thing, why don't you try creating a Patreon page? Maybe it should work pretty good, since i see a lot of +18 Game Creators at Patreon.

Kind of a late response, but it’s not abandoned — just on a bit of a hiatus. He’s finishing the last update for another one of his games (LSH), and after that, he’ll come back to this game to finish it

I may be wrong, but you can probably unlock all levels by just finishing  the Hailey levels
