I spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure out where to go or what to do, I had been in that dang misery machine room like a dozen times but didn't realize I could actually play it myself. thanks to that I'm certain I've now seen 100% of the content in the demo. wonderful game. 

is there a way to get past this barrier? I've interacted with every single thing I could possibly find and I've killed every enemy on that map (including geometry man and the crab bastard), but I can't figure out how to get past, that's assuming there's even a way?

Absolutely loved everything about this game. I'm sure there's still a lot I'm missing but the combat is starting to grow on me a little bit. the crab bastard was very tough. oh and ladders are working for me too, but like federx at first I thought they weren't because the witch didn't say anything about it

fun demo, I love the art style. I don't have much to add that hasn't already been said and I'm looking forward to all updates.

after playing more I did find one new bug: sometimes on the turn a character dies, they will still do their attack after they're already dead

dude thank you so much for playing it on stream! and yeah the idle gameplay is a bit basic since the project is so early, I promise more improvements and dopamine are coming soon. 

For what it's worth I've spent the last 12 hours working on the typing mode today, expect huge changes. I'm probably going to split it off and make it into a proper "typing of the dead" competitor

every single attack does have a unique animation tied to it, but yeah right now it's just basic mixamo animations so it's hard to tell them apart. in the future each attack will have a unique particle effect, and damage value, and fancier animation, so it will be easier to tell them apart

I wonder if you could make the anime girl on screen 3D. like she's in a subviewport and has jiggle physics, and then you render that subviewport to the mech's monitor.

the idle gameplay was made in a few days just so that way there's some basic gameplay/progression for demoday. I do intend for the final game to play closer to a traditional JRPG like FF12, and not like an idle game. I greatly appreciate you trying out the game on linux

Yeah, the game is extremely early in development. it's mostly a music and shader showcase. A screensaver. But that's because this project is so young, lots of improvements are coming soon

also I'm likely going to flesh out the "typing of the dead" minigame into a full game, so that way people who don't like idle games have something to enjoy

I promise you, more juice and more weapons are coming very soon
