Yea, i ended up spending a tad too much time on polish early on, so i ran out of time before i could make the game smoother and easier to play lol
Ty btw, i made all the art (tho you would be surprised by how little there is, other than the forklift and the player, everything is just cubes and spheres and cylinders lol)

yea, the life of a certified forklifter aint for everyone (tho i might have to tweak the controls once the jam is over, cus it's definietly way too hard lol)

Loved the artstyle, and everything felt pretty impactful with the sound effects
Physics were a bit jank tho

fun lil concept, with some juicy particles and some more variety, i could see it easily becoming a full game

Wish i could have managed more variety with the visuals (like all the levels are the same shelf model copy pasted lol) but i'm still happy with how much i managed to squeeze out of my time

Yea i should have spent more of my time on making the physics better, but the goblin in my brain needed the bouncy anims on the player when moving instead lol

Ty for all the really detailed feedback, will definietly come back to this comment when i get to fixing all the issues

Regarding the missing paper texture, it was an issue with the web export sadly, i left it to last minute cus i thought it would work fine, but then when i built it, like half the game was broken (literally had to disable one of the main shaders cus it just casused the screen to go black in compatibility mode :c ), so if you do intend to give it another go, try the downloadable version (tho you wouldn't be missing out on much if you didn't play it again, cus there is not an ending, just some lore-ish things around the map that try to give reason to why the game has no end lol)

Also originally the game was more centered on exploring and placing lights, adding the generator was kind of a last minute decision (might try and get more exploration stuff in when i do an update)

Will most likely do a post jam update at one point, cus there are a ton of small things like the interaction area being small, that i really wanna fix
Will make sure to add more sounds + some music too (already wrote a tiny ambient song for it, but there was a construction near me, so i couldn't record it without bg noise lol)

Yea there was one bug with the light detection that i couldn't catch before i ran out of time sadly (also u didn't miss out on much, there isn't an ending, only a small conclusion for why there isn't an end lol)

really wanted to have an ending, but i didn't have enough time, so the only real conclusion is a note the player can find from a previous prisoner, where they talk about how even tho their sentence is over, they were kept working

Also this was just my first jam on Godot specifically, i've done many jams before just not on godot, so it's not that impressive lol

When i get to making a postjam update imma add an easter egg commemorating ur score, cus i'm pretty sure noone will pass this

Yea the days get progressively slower, to lessen the amount of upgrades, but i might have overdone it lol

Also gah damn 19 days is a really good score, the best i got was a 17 when testing

insanely cool artstyle, tho the controls felt a bit clunky, especially when jumping (allowing movement mid air would have made a world of difference imo)

Yea that bug is really funny, it happened to me a few times when testing and every time something goofy ended up happening, so i kept it in *totally wasn't just lazy to fix it or anything*

pretty simple concept, but surprisingly hard in practice
it was really fun trying to get a rythm going to keep my tree alive :)

Will probably do a post jam update once the voting ends, that will fix as many bugs as possible, and adds some new stuff (things that i wanted to add, but couldn't due to the short timeframe of the jam, like different enemies, tons of new upgrades, and maybe a leaderboard)

Really polished lil game, hitting the ufos was hella satisfying

Fun game with a dope style, but desperately needs a sensitivity slider, had to drag my mouse across my desk twice just to turn around lol

With the digikey, the issue might have been that you need to click on the pc to plug it in (i really should have put some outlines on interactable objects lol) If you want to try it again the savepoints also save to disc, so you should be able to continue where you left off
