When merging two cells, their RGB values are set to the middle point (for example, a {200, 0, 0} combining with a {0, 200, 0} would result in {100, 100, 0}.
The goal is to get a cell in the grid to have its values in a range which I defined for colors resembling honey (180-255 for red, and 120-200 for green, blue is constant across all cells).

Thanks for playing!

Good one! Haven't yet managed to get deeper into the dungeon but I will try more later.
If this idea is continued I'd suggest gradually introducing the elements, maybe start with 1 or 2 elements at the beginning. I was struggling a bit to wrap my head around 3 element interactions at a time, but maybe this is a skill issue :)

I was about to type that the game does not work.. then it blew my mind. Congratulations, very good one!

A bit hard to wrap around, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Nice idea! The background music is really relaxing.
Would have loved to be able to shift the cells in all 6 directions, and the background seems to flicker a bit, but otherwise nice game!

This game is hard and enjoyable, in a good, mind-training way! Congratulations!

Nice one! Used it as a little typing practice :)
I have to say it would be nice if somehow the spaces would be also highlighted after getting typed, I was getting confused at times and did not know if I already put space or not.
(418s - I really sat to read and try to understand all the PR's lol)

Pretty neat idea, unfortunately it is a bit buggy for me:
- After you pick the first piece, you can hover and drag from any part of the bottom bar to bring up hidden (not found yet) pieces
- In the second room, if you go to the statue corner and face the outside wall, you first see some kind of table. From there if you try to go forward, it sends you two steps to the left. I reached that corner by another route and instead of a table I saw a hole in the wall
- Some pieces are placed around the inventory area, and I cannot pick them because the inventory bar keeps popping in front of it

These may be because I tried on Brave and the description stated on Chrome the game is constantly upscaled/downscaled. I will try on other browsers later and see what happens.

The current player height is a bit hard to perceive, so it gets really hard to estimate the jumps.
Otherwise, fun idea, and I'd definitely see it expanded to various shapes of obstacles and arenas.

Thank you for your interest!

I may try to change/improve the mechanic once the jam ends.  Glad the game made you happy :)

Thank you for playing!

Regarding the game mechanic, I also realised half-way through the jam that it might not be that obvious what to do but it was too late to pivot. After the jam ends I might change it or make a tutorial step to fix this.
