My first game uploaded here, “Astro Storm”, is released!
I developed it in the course of 2 days. Everything (code and assets) except the title theme and the Get Ready jingle was done by me.
Astro Storm is a space-themed endless vertical scroller in which you have to avoid asteroids that hurtle towards you in ever-increasing numbers. I was inspired by Revival Studios’ “Astrododge” but felt the original was too repetitive so I added several new features, turning it into something new and different. :-) The graphics have been made to look similar to early 90’s DOS games, on which I grew up. :-)
