Very polished! Shooting the star is very fun to do.

This game is soooo addicting, I played it for like 20 minutes. And I think it looks very consistent which is such a major plus for me! Good job!

This game is very polished, and just such a cool concept. It reminds me of those FRIV flash games, but better. Definitely looking forward to seeing more levels if you plan on making them!

This was so fun! Very polished! Good job!

Haha, thank you. The eyes can be tricky!

Yeah, Level 15 is a tough one to crack! Thanks for playing it :)

The game looks really good! The vibes are on point.

Yeah, we wanted it to be a bit challenging! Thank you for the feedback!

This is so beautiful! Would love to know how you achieved these visuals!

I'll reach out today!

As long as you are passionate about something and want to put in some work, experience really doesn't matter to me. Your portfolio looks really crisp, I think we could make really cool stuff together!

Bump

Hey, I could listen to your stuff for HOURS, it's poignant!

The feelings it invokes are definitely something I could see myself channeling in game form. Another person and I are in talks of working on a short-term, relatively smaller-scope summer project and would love someone who would be willing to workshop with us in the group.

If that sounds like something you'd like, feel free to contact me through Discord (my username is pokojo), and we can talk more there :)

Hey, everyone! Like many people here, I have some free time this summer, and what would be better to do than to take that time and work on a game to put on my portfolio!

My strengths are in programming and graphics programming. I am a full-time student going for his masters in computer science. I know how to make games in Unity really well as that's the tool I used to learn the basics, but for this summer, I would like to work in Godot (using C# as opposed to GDScript, which I'm not that familiar with). I know the basics of the Godot Engine, but would not call myself a professional by any means, and would be using this project to get familiar with the tool.

What I AM looking for:

  • Like-minded individuals who also have some time to put into a new game.
  • Artists (2D or 3D), anyone with complementary (but not overlapping) skills they can bring to the table.
  • To work on a small-scope game that will ideally be finished by the end of the summer, end of August.
  • Having fun, getting to know people with interest in game development, and working on this hobby of ours, together.
  • People who have Discord.
  • 18+ is highly preferred, but not mandatory.

What I AM NOT looking for:

  • To join projects with an existing idea.
  • To work on other people's game idea: the game we make should be everyone's joint creation, not one person's idea.
  • People whose only skill in game development is "having game ideas"; game design is crucial, but a game idea is not game design, bring literally anything else to the table.
  • People who will give up without saying anything. Don't ghost, it's not cool.
  • To completely lead a project. I will say, there are guidelines that I might set in the beginning as we get our footing, but I want this to be a truly joint effort, leadership included.

If anyone is interested or has any questions, comment down below or contact me through Discord so we can get to know each other (my username on there is pokojo)! I'll try to respond whenever I get a chance.

:)

Hope you like MY game <3 ^^
