I just released a browser-based management game that goes beyond standard incremental clicking and actually models real-world financial mechanics.
In Family Office Simulator, you don't just buy assets. You manage debt-service coverage ratios, execute 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, and structure corporate entities (like putting high-risk assets into LLCs or forming Holding Companies for tax consolidation).
A quick warning for new players: If you choose the $75M "Windfall" start, you immediately inherit the massive overhead and trust obligations of an ultra-high-net-worth estate. You have to deploy capital fast, or the burn rate will crush you. If you want to learn the mechanics safely, choose the $2M "Bootstrapped" start.
