I don't think I've seen a wolfenstein-inspired game for a game jam before. The shooting feels a little clunky, and the main reason for that is that it relies on ADS. As a general rule, fast paced/arcadey shooter games are better without ADS.

So that's what this mysterious black screen is all about. Interesting. I wonder why the game runs at all in that case.

This game is fantastic. The skateboard powerup is great, and I like that you have a metroidvania-style powerup system with multiple ways to get to the end.

When it comes to video games, there's no such thing as having too many guns. Very cool game idea.

That cover image needs to become someone's wallpaper.

The art and theme are great, and I like that the spotlight restricts what the player can see.

The music is great. Picking up blocks while platforming is a neat idea. Controller support would be good for a platformer. Also the shadow for your character isn't a drop shadow, which means using it as a reference point for your jumps will get you killed.

The music's great!

The music is fantastic, and great interpretation of the theme. From a U.I. perspective, you may want to have icons for each of your abilities.

I like that the jump physics depend on how long you hold the jump button.

If you time it right, you can eat the food and work your job at the same time (only plays eating animation though). This is a cool idea for a stealth game. Also that art is great :)

Aiming cannonballs with explosion physics is a such a cool idea. Also the water looks fantastic.

Having some graphical issues on my end.

Anime solaris, and a lighting assignment extension. Doesn't get much better than that!

You may want to consider adding more mechanics. For example, what if holding jump made you jump higher? The bats look good.

Gameplay and level design were great. Consider adding controller support in the future since platformers are generally better with controllers.

I love the art for the ghost. We need more Halloween-themed jam games.

Let me guess, Ky-Mari was the one who came up with the idea! A way to make this game less memorization-based is to either have falling notes or have the circles slowly get filled. It's hard to predict when the next note is going to drop unless it's a sequence of notes. Very cool game.

Adding a rear thruster would make the ship easier to control. That being said, circle-strafing around enemy ships is fun. Good gameplay loop.

You don't usually see JRPGs at game jams. This was a breath of fresh air. For some reason when I explore the room on the right (before the door with the moon key), I can't get back out.

:)

You got me and AL to laugh out loud XD

:)

I wasn't really sure what the reflect was supposed to do. Regardless, good job! This game is even harder than Bisect!

The visuals look fantastic Only thing is I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do. I figured out I can feed animals with the carrots, but the enemies also have an E icon, and when I press E nothing happens. Y'all might want to add a "How to Play" button in the main menu or something like that.

If this game doesn't get top 3, I will cry.

I'm a simple man. I see Dr. Towle, I immediately rate 5/5 stars.

Fantastic game! The motorcycle SFX reminds me a lot of Road Rash.

This is the vampire survivors of the respawn game jam. It's simple, easy to understand, and plays very well. The only problem is that I suck at playing it! XD

Fantastic job!

Perhaps Isabelle took inspiration from that N64 mario party game.

The artist on this team knocked it out of the park, holy crap this art is good! The Uncle Sam Eagle in particular is fantastic. I do wish there were a survival mode since it seems like all of the modes are currently objective-based. Great job!

This game is great. I love how OP you become once your bounce strength and initial strength get crazy high. A physics-based strategy game is perfect for the theme too. Outstanding job!

Very good gameplay. Great job!

Controller support would be great cause it's kinda hard for two people to play it comfortably on the same laptop. The art on this game is incredible, and the charm is off the charts. Good job!

Thanks for making it in the first place :)

That would've been cool, but I'm still happy he made it into the game to drop falling obstacles on you, lol.

WOW this is polished for a jam game! Visuals and sounds are great, and items that aren't trustworthy is a great idea! Congrats on 1st place!

A typing game with pretty visuals. Can't say I've seen that before at a game jam!

Very impressed that you were able to basically turn a reaction time test into a fun game. Awesome job!

idk if this is just an Unreal issue or what, but my 1050ti laptop wasn't able to run it. The graphics do look pretty though.
