what part was hard for you? I'm interested in making the game more accessible

how do you think I could explain surfing better to players?

you're not alone, i'm kinda bad at it too

oh, yeah, i see. i should've make it more clear that levels are meant to be played in order

no, thank YOU for playing my little game! unfortunately, i'm not that old, wish i was there to be a part of it

<3

aw, thank you so much!

fixed! the ui should scale properly now

woah, we had similar ideas for the jam. what you did with the music speeding up is very cool, but the controls are too stiff. almost no air control, and in some rooms your movement is a bit tilted to the right, even if you only hold W. graphics look cool too

every single aspect of this game is absolute peak of gaming

i like how responsive the controls are, but some sfx seem to be much louder than the other. also it may be a bit difficult, but maybe it's just me

the visuals help the atmosphere a lot, i like the style. but grappling is a bit clanky, couldn't really swing or gain significant speed. waiting for the downloadable version since the game crashed in the first house

what caused the difficulty for you?

what parts did you struggle with the most? i want to think on a better way to teach players these movement mechanics

surfing can be pretty hard to understand, still wondering how can i teach the player to pull it off. thanks for playing!

thanks! the ui bug is currently being fixed

thanks for playing! i've opened a ticket to fix the fullscreen ui scaling problem. hopefully i will be able to build on the idea in the future!

i hate the controls so much

amazing

(1 edit)

each random event got me laughing and panicking at the same time. if core mechanics were a joke, these events would be the punchline. gotta be the scariest game from the jam for sure

no one truly knows ig,  depends on scope. I've made 3 games total, 2 of them took 14 days each, then there was one that took 11 months. still, only 40 minutes of playtime. this one I actually released on steam and it has my best tracks so far, so you might be interested in that

one of the tracks

ty! actually, i've been thinking about making a game with a similar idea for a while

thank you! hope the track isn't too far from the theme of the jam

visuals are very cool, but the heal window is a bit too small and i end up dying to bagmen
skill issue i guess

thank you so much! yeah, there were supposed to be more rooms and items, but i've run out of time (i had to scrap the game i was originally making midway through the jam and make this one instead). also, you still have a little bit of time to run away if the police car spots you

the concept, as said before, is awesome. it feels absolutely confusing in the best way possible. also i suck at the game, my friends keep winning
