One more thing I wanted to mention! 💜

I'm also getting pretty close to finishing the Android version of Scrap Shift! ♻️📱

Something you might not know is that I actually started developing the Android version long before I began working on the Windows edition.

After spending so much time on it, I honestly just needed a break and wanted to work on something different for a while. That's when I shifted my focus to the Windows version, which eventually grew into the complete release I'm sharing today.

Now that the Windows edition is finished, I'm planning to turn my attention back to Android and finish what I started.

There's still some work left to do, and I don't want to promise an exact release date just yet, but I'm excited to finally get both versions out there.

Thanks again for all the support. It really means a lot!

ScrapShift PageHey everyone!

I'm Veylith, an independent developer, and I'm excited to finally share my game, Scrap Shift!

This is one of my first major game development projects, and I've spent a lot of time learning, experimenting, fixing bugs, and figuring things out along the way. There's still plenty I want to improve, but I'm excited to finally let other people experience what I've been working on.

What is Scrap Shift?

Scrap Shift is a 2D recycling and industrial management game where you start with a small scrapyard and gradually build your operation into something bigger.

You'll sort different materials, earn money, purchase upgrades, unlock equipment, and try to survive increasingly challenging shifts.

Current features include:

  • Sorting metal, plastic, glass, and electronic waste
  • Upgradable processing equipment
  • Different difficulty settings
  • Special scrap items with varying rarities
  • Yard expansion and progression
  • Achievements and challenges
  • Endless Mode for players who prefer playing without a shift timer

What's next?

This is only the beginning!

I have plans to expand the Windows version with more advanced industrial management, automation systems, new contracts, additional equipment, and more challenging achievements.

I'm developing Scrap Shift using C++ and SDL3, and the process has taught me a lot about programming and game design.

I'd love your feedback!

Since the game is still in development, there may be bugs, balancing issues, or features that need improvement.

If you decide to try it, I'd really appreciate hearing what you think. What do you enjoy? What feels frustrating? What would you like to see added?

Even constructive criticism helps me figure out how to make the game better.
