There are a couple of weddings where it says you go and make the ring, without having to get the materials and do the clinky clanky.

But I don't even remember that text for Lind. Or the ring cg showing during the wedding. 

Poor general's entire wedding sequence feels sadly undercooked compared to everyone else. 

So I owe the author an apology for wasting their time.  

The CGs you get earlier don't count, apparently. The actual quest that leads to their scenes (Jessy's New Clothes) can take quite awhile to trigger after the bandit quest.

Everyone but Owen was recruited after her scene in the inn.

She is not there.

I've recruited half a dozen new squad leaders since.

As I said, I did get them both.

Wendy does not unlock when I talk to her.

She's in the inn room after her scene, and of course I got the one with the archer leader. But all Wendy does is mention going back to the Courage tower. 

I was wrong, you need to fully complete Yuki's story and upgrade your device to progress. It could probably a bit clearer about that.
