The games will be able to be open to be updated once judging period closes with Mouse aiming to play them on Sunday.

As for browser games, those are fine to be updated without uploading a stand alone version

Edits/updates can be made to the games soon as judging is done until Mouse plays the games - aiming for Sunday

As for browser games, you can update the main game and don't have to upload a updated stand alone.

Given the majority seem to be ok with moving the schedule up, we'll aim closing judging Saturday night at 5pm EST so Mouse can play the games that night or Sunday.

As for questions on winners coming from outside top 20, I don't have an answer on that currently. But soon as I do I will answer here.

So for now, we can guarantee the top 20 will be played this weekend and winners will be chosen from them so continue to rate the games as you can!

Hello all!

Mousey is interested in maybe closing the judging period earlier so she can play ALL THE GAMES this weekend (Sat/Sunday) instead of the following weekend. 

Would anyone be opposed to this change? It would mean losing more time to polish things up but Mousey wants to play all the games and not just the top 20.

Please let us know if you have any issue/feedback with this so we can make a decision in the next 24hr

Hello, the voting period is 2 weeks since several of the mod team including myself need to rate the games and we are also busy managing Subathon.

I am going to request that you remove the Political statements that are in the ingame stream chat as Mouse does not allow political discussions in her streams. In particular the "Free Palestine" comment has to be removed.

Once judging is complete, you can update the game to fix the issue, if its not fixed when Mouse goes to play the games, it will be disqualified.

If it cannot be fixed before entries closed, you can fix it after judging before Mouse plays it. We'll only DQ if its time for Mouse to play and Sanrio IP concerns remain.

Given the color scheme chosen, the design might need to be changed to be more clear this is nothing to do with Sanrio

After seeing the pic, changing the name and the color pallet would both be required to ensure Sanrio IP has no issue.

With the information you have provided we would have to DQ you as that way too close to Sanrio IP

We have seen others change the color scheme to a Monkey and completely drop the name comparison and it should be fine

Anything that can be mistaken as Sanrio IP can't be used, so the Cinnabuns char was way too close. Those changes sound good but we'll let you know if anything else is an issue when we test it again later today

That level of blood won't be an issue; were more concerned with nudity and the sort due to Twitch TOS.

Assuming they are not AI generated and credit is given if from another party, there should be no issue.

It can be done however the team wants. We can send money to one person and that person distributes it accordingly or we pay each person accordingly

Hello, clarification has been added to the rules

Once the submission period ends on September 1st, no updates to game content are allowed until voting is complete. Once voting is complete, bug fixes and quality of life fixes are allowed up until Mouse plays the game on stream. These UPDATES SHOULD NOT INCLUDE ADDITIONAL CONTENT and should be uploaded as separate versions. Updates to the game page, cover art, and game name are allowed at any time during the event. Entries caught violating the no-update policy upon review pre-stream will be automatically disqualified.

Hello all!

Thank you all for your hard work making this gamejam a success as the voting is wrapping up today. The results of the gamejam will remain hidden until the time of the GameJam stream to keep suspense on what are the top 20 games.

Currently Mousey is planning to stream the top 20 games and choose the winners on Sept 17th, but this date can change based on Mousey's busy schedule.

Finally, as mentioned in another thread, updating the games to fix any issues can be done in the meantime.
