I like the character designs. The puzzles are varied and interesting. And the soundtrack ties everything together into a cohesive experience. Really enjoyed it!

Really cool characters and animations! Tons of personality! You can really tell how much care went into it.

The controls feel a bit stiff though, but maybe it's just me being bad at platformers :)

Thanks for playing! We spread ourselves thin between the script, assets, and gameplay. So yeah not much made it into the final build unfortunately. I think coming up with the intro sequence was one of my favorite parts so I'm glad you like it :)

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately yeah most of the script didn't make it into the game. After turning the backup generator back on it kind of just ends after meeting up with mariana.

Also initially we wanted to have a more narrative visual novel kind of gameplay with puzzles and classic navigation between rooms. But we wanted to try this within a full 3d scene instead of pre-rendered environments. It turned out a bit more awkward than anticipated though, so we incorporated wasd controls on top to avoid having to rotate the camera to select where to go. I agree it's not the most intuitive.

Got legit anxiety from this, super uncanny! Very interesting twist on the theme, and the realization is top notch! The art and music fit really well! The intermissions with the calming ambiance are surprisingly effective at bringing the stress level back down. Every time I thought I had enough, it motivated me to lock in and keep going. An overall banger :)
Unfortunately I think the screen shader/vfx makes the game quite laggy for me. So some of the minigames were extra challenging due to the mouse cursor delay.

Pretty challenging, but I started getting the hang of it after a while! The timings of some of the text boxes are a bit punishing though. The game freezes in the middle of you getting shot, and reacting quickly enough once the game unfreezes after closing the text box is hard. Maybe an invincibility period after closing dialogs would help?

Simple idea but very effective and fun!

Had to cut it short so this is unfinished. Feel free to try it out though :)
