The good:
A very interesting premise, with characters that feel like real people, fun interactions, and lots of world-building that makes you want more.
The bad:
A rough first chapter that definitely needs work, mainly on the spelling and grammar side of things.
Beyond that though, it's a good story worth a read by anyone who likes fantasy!
I am as well! My only regret is that there isn't any way to save our original Jo from being stuck in the ending they chose; they deserve to be given a proper, happy ending, without the war or death or any of it.
(I might just have to write my own idea of what such an ending would look like, if only so they get at least one version of events where they get to be at peace!)
I only just found this story and I am sad I didn't find it before now, because it is gorgeous and wonderful and joyful and sad in all the best ways. The little bits and pieces and differences that you can find through the different loops are all so great, and the ending once you finally decide that it's perfect (enough) is great, too.
(I did end up going through an extra couple loops to get everything just so, and there are still questions I never found answers to, but I'm happy with the ending I finally settled on.)
I need to stop playing in-progress games because the writing in this is so damn good! I'm absolutely desperate for more, and I want to know everything- who my character really is, their former relation (if any) to the Grey Regent, the Regent's plan, what plans the Viper King has and how things will go with the group- it's all so good and I love it! Here's hoping we get to see a lot more of this story and its characters soon, I'll be eagerly waiting for sure!

One bug I did note, though it may just be an issue on my end; the music during chapter 3 seemed to continue playing even during sections when it was supposed to change, and loading saves causes issues with the music, making them overlap if there are different tracks. Regardless, loved the update, thank you so much!
The writing for this particular game is absolutely amazing, with immersive descriptions that really help one get into the mindset of Mordred, to follow along with their story even as you make choices shaping who they will become. It's really captured my attention and left me wanting so much more, I can't wait for the full game to be completed!
I will say as well, I chose to try playing as a trans man and found the way the game presented the slow realization that Mordred didn't feel like a girl but instead like a boy to be very well done and interesting; while cis IRL, I still feel like the writing very much helped me get into the mindset of being at odds with one's own assigned sex, and the gentle acceptance from the various individuals in the game was heartwarming to read.
A wonderful, well-written and very expansive game! The characters all feel believable and unique, and I adore each and every one of my allies.
Definitely gonna be eagerly awaiting more of this IF, and personally I am hoping for a poly route with Rylan and A (Because lets be honest, it's the best meet-cute in existence and they both deserve happiness)
So I went into this game with no expectations only to be blown away by how captivating and intriguing the story became! The characters all draw you in with different motivations, backstory, and reactions to the MC's return, while the mysteries surrounding the town continue to entice the reader to delve further and further into the history of this world.
The little side stories are fun, and the interludes give the whole game an episodic feel that works well IMO.
I will say there are some minor issues with spelling and grammar, though they are by no means egregious enough to detract from the story, just an issue to keep in mind. On a personal level, I did think the real-world name-dropping was a little heavy-handed, though that could just be a matter of taste. Overall, a solid game that I'm eager to see the rest of!
Oh my gods how is your writing so good? I binged the story all in a single go and I love it so much, it's so wonderful and sweet and emotional, damn you for tugging on my heartstrings like that!
I love all the characters but Robin is so wonderful I absolutely adore them, I need more with these characters please say you'll do a sequel sometime because the setting and characters are just way too good, and I wanna know what becomes of The City and its people after the epilogue!
Another amazing writer calling their captivating novel of a story a demo, I am so spoiled to have found such an intriguing and wonderful work as this! I love all the characters, all complex and interesting in their own ways, and I can't wait for the next chapter to come out!
(All of them are so sweet and charming, I'm having a bit of trouble keeping from choosing romantic options for everyone even though I'm definitely gunning for Oswin. I love me some childhood friend romance! I'd go for a poly route in a heartbeat if it was available, though!)

Adding my annoyance to the crowd; I'd say tell Collective Shout to go fuck themselves, but clearly they aren't doing that with how stuck-up they are about anything even remotely NSFW. Instead, just bring back all the NSFW games and tell anyone who has an issue with it to get over themselves. After all, you don't stumble on this stuff by accident, you have to go looking for it!
