I would suggest thread management be distinct from pacing, or at least have them modularly separated... having each sub system do one thing well works best imo.

If any sub system should be threaded (heh) into threads management, it would be better as a replacement on Events, not on scene pacing

What would happen if we just picked PACE as a letter selection? Roll the d10 and wrap around? Sure it wont give you the calculated distributions but would be more light, would it make much difference at play?

Also, why is the base sequence Push->Twist->Release->Twist rather than something 3 phased?

If I must pick from these, I would go with SENSE. Good acronyms are hard! Harder than good names I would say

It seems to me you reviewed the text, its much clear now (I read it at publishing and got stuck half way by confusion)

It amazes me how far you go and how masterfully you make use of word associations.

Suggestion: mystery clocks. I have seen that at Daydreamer RPG (the one spun from FU): the clock exists, but you dont know when it will trigger (it calls them Hidden Springs). How would you go about it? Daydreamer implements it by automatic trigger at 3 "no, and..." iirc. I have a feeling you can iterate on top of this proposal.

I have been re-reading the blog posts because I am getting ready to try to play again soon, and after digging many systems, yours strikes me as the cleanest on play advice, which is something I struggle still today.

And answering the last thoughts: I think you should at least mention the palace and major systems when you are already introducing complex mnemonics such as these in this post

this game is probably, hands down, the best visual novel I ever played

the plot works wonders without the sexy part, but DAMN, the sex is so well written and interwoven in the story and character developments that I highly doubt that one could tell the same story without approaching this angle as well

and yeah, I love your style of comedy, and love the fact that the sex scenes are actually kinda sparse

you mastered the art of anticipation building and creating tension of all kinds

I need advice tho, I am very bad at playing solo, I immediatelly got stumped at the first "Time Passes" roll... so... any help in how to define what happens?

I really want to play solo but this is the the point that always stop me, being unable to define what happens next

Any help is appreciated, and again, this is a great game, great setting, I will be looking closely for any update on this project
