Since the game is not frame limited, it always ends up running at like 900 FPS and using 100% GPU. If you could add like a reasonable FPS limit or add a Vsync option, it'd run a bit better.

Without a GPU, probably not

You unpack the game and double-click the ULTRALEAK.exe

I really like the game, especially the Filters you managed to put on it, but I feel like its far too repetitive. Requiring only 2 captures for each round would make it less boring.

I never programmed in a god mode. I have no idea what "god mode" you're referring to

Most games require C++ runtimes. Most people actually already have them, since Steam will install them automatically if a game needs them

Can't

Frame limit is already set to 250. I think the console command to change it was t.MaxFps X

Maybe next April fools

Seems like you're getting blocked by your antivirus

Not by the player. I can add a fov setting to the next update if needed, but for now it's stuck at 90

Hey, I see there's a demo posted in the downloads. I was wondering if that demo is there only for preview purposes or does the license agreement apply to it separately?

I played it for a while. I think the chase mechanics are really cool and the environments look really nice, but I had no clue where to go after finding the tape in the cave and I had frequent performance drops.

Also, why in the name of all that is holy is V-sync forced on?

The star collecting sections were annoying as there's not much to do except point your camera in a direction of a star and wait for the camera to get there. I also kept being pursued by a black floating guy who'd teleport me back to the beginning, which scared me at first, but just got annoying  later. He'd even spawn camp me, grabbing me trough a wall soon after I spawned in the map before I could spot him.

Hey there, one of the devs here. Unfortunately bugs are something we struggled to fix up until the last hours of the Jam. The game has been developed in 20 days and most of us didn't had teamwork experience, so we were pretty disorganized. I hope to fix some of the problems in the future patches ✌️

In 1972, an old military submarine was donated for scientific research. It was to be used for observing and collecting data about the sea life of the Pacific ocean, specifically the whales. An issue arose though, only one person agreed to be locked underwater in a floating tin can, only one researcher boards the submarine, alone in the dark depths of the ocean.

Dark Depths is a short 20-40 minute horror-themed whale watching simulator in an early 3D games (Quake, GoldenEye, Deus Ex) style graphics. It's available for free (with optional donations) on Windows and Linux (with a bonus of behind the scenes docs if you donate at least 4$).

(Also, does anybody know why I can't see the game when I try to put it's name in the search bar? it's been 2 days and I'm beginning to worry that something broke 😰)
