I will keep that in mind! Thanks!

I love the game! It feels really good and the gameplay is fun! That being said, I felt I had to fight the player's movement a little bit (the player runs up walls, which can be annoying). The lack of checkpoints was a little frustrating, although easily manageable. I wish there was a click and drag toward where I wanted to go/throw, as I was often running out of space for my mouse. I love the trajectory lines, as they make lining up shots simple.

All in all, great game, great concept, could be a little bit better with a few small tweaks.

What do you mean by options? The menu buttons?

Love the sounds!

I know it’d be a lot of work, but could you add a custom deck system with skills that affect the deck permanently (add cards, eat/remove cards, maybe change suit, etc. )? Here’s a list of skill/general ideas:

  •   Maybe a skill to directly take cookies from an opponent or force them to bet and/or increase the minimum bet amount
  • Maybe extra points if all cards are of the same suit
  • Maybe swap cards with your opponent
  • Maybe a skill to randomly use two other skills for the cost of one
  • Maybe a skill that makes the next skill used free
  • Maybe allow you to use 2 skills next turn
  • Maybe permanently increase/decrease the number of a card (similar to strength from Balatro)
  • Maybe you can eat your cookies for buffs (they are delicious after all)
  • Maybe a card to show you the odds that the next card wins (not sure how useful this is)

These are just some ideas; don’t feel obligated to add any of them. The last and probably hardest to implement would be a local 1v1 against a friend. It could as a sense of competition when otherwise it’s basically just betting. Feel free to add what you want from this list, or don’t. It’s your game, do what you think is good.

Very engaging and entertaining game! It strikes the right balance between easy to learn and giving a challenging experience. The only thing that bothered me was the length of the dead time (discard and dealing of the cards). If you could speed up that animation or something similar, it would be just that little bit better.

Very fun and entertaining game, although I never figured out the bushes mechanic. The plus in the lower right seemed to only change the color. There was nothing in the description about it, but if it only changes color, a plus is probably not the right symbol to communicate that. The description doesn't really explain how to play the game (left click to interact with the UI? What does interact mean? How can I interact? What parts of the ui? Etc.) Overall, very fun to play, after you get the hang of it.

The combat is a little difficult as the heat moving and the spikes don't align with the beat of the music, so it throws me off a little. Other than that, beautiful game with a fun mechanic!

Really fun to play! The heartbeat increase when sprinting doesn't seem to scale fast enough, as you can just sprint to the end of the level. Right-click on a trackpad while using arrow keys is a little difficult, so it might be nice if there was a key bind or two for world switching. Overall, fun to play with a unique idea.

Very creative and fun to play! The game is more fun the further you get into the levels. At the beginning, there isn't time to read the stats for the characters, so I find myself just spamming whatever is in slot 1 (maybe a pause button?). It would be better if there was an explanation of the stats on the page. Also, the game gets stuck if you eliminate 1 tower and have 1 tower get eliminated. Overall, great game!

The art was great, and the music was even better! Escaping seems to just stop the game, though, and the small window size causes the boss to be off-screen for most of the game. It would be better if there was a full-screen button or the window was bigger.
