As a molecular physicist, I had a hard time following the physics here, but the game part is really cool! I liked that you could repel things or attract them based on spin, even though that doesn't make a ton of sense quantum mechanically xD I also liked the cheeky p-orbital that showed up part way through, though I don't think I made it far enough to encounter any d's (if such a thing even exists lol). Graphically, the style was really cool, and I quite enjoyed the sound design as well!! I wish I could've made H2 cause all the Hydrogen ions were stressing me out, but I guess that might've made the game too trivial haha

It took me a really long time to understand what to do even after reading the rules, but I finally got it! This game is *really* outside my skillset but I gave it the old college try and I made it decently far xD but then bro ate all my cards from the tippy top floor and I couldn't bring myself to start from scratch haha
It's really cute!!
I really enjoyed this one!! That reverse cursor segment was extremely frustrating and I felt like I was playing on hard mode with my trackpad LOL but I got it. I liked the narrative as well! The windows kept opening behind the folders for some reason which was pretty annoying, and it seemed like if the x's overlapped, it closed both windows, so I was constantly closing the whole folder when I just wanted to close the file xD I also found a weird glitch where the girlfriend text message file vanished from existence after I opened it once (the icon in the folder was just gone), glad there wasn't any critical information in there lol. Super great game overall!!!
This is unbelievable lol - how on Earth did you guys manage to cram all this stuff into the game in such little time??? The art is incredible, the music is incredible, the level design is incredible. I can hardly even think of a single critique. I played all the way through, but I'm tempted to go again just to see more of the level design with different objectives!! I rolled hoops way more than anything else, and I still don't even know what the skull one does because I never rolled it haha. Balloons were really silly, the coins were super hard by the end, and my overall favorite was probably the ringmaster tbh, that felt like a really cool twist on the levels! Lava wasn't as threatening as I expected, but I only rolled it once and it was on the very last stage, so probably too small of a sample size. The only thing I will note is one spike tunnel in I think the fourth level seemed inescapable cause when I tried to jump off the spikes I would just start fluttering. Other than that, absolutely amazing!!!! No notes xD
I reeeeaaalllyyy wanted to like this one cause when I playtested it I felt like it had a ton of potential, but there were just so many frustrations I had with the controls that sadly weren't addressed since then. I wish that the game registered when I pressed space no matter what, but it seems like you need to release space and repress it every time you move out of the middle and back again, which makes it really hard to make fine adjustments, and then any adjustments more than fine adjustments will send you flipping around. Rapid tapping space seemed a lot more effective than holding for that reason. Also, I would often times land on one of the later "safe zones" then when I tried to reorient myself back to the middle to start flying again, I would flip and roll off all the way back down to the observatory. The game looks and sounds amazing! I think the controls could've used a lot more refinement though. The concept is really cool too, and I think it could definitely be a great game with some minor tweaks!!
This game is pretty fun!! I honestly wish the stats were a bit more visible, so it was clear what "grown stronger" and such meant. I noticed by the end that I was killing enemies even with a 1, so it seems like a flat damage buff or something. The little story segments are super cool too! I completed the DETERMINATION "sidequest" and I felt like the reward for that was awesome. Too bad the squid rolled a 30 and killed me when it only had 1hp left LOL. Overall, very fun, just a little too nebulous in terms of mechanics imo.
hehe I mentioned this in another reply already but you actually do have some control over character selection cause you can stop the wheel by pressing z again! I found this out super late, but it makes a huge difference imo and I wish it was explained in-game so people wouldn't get so frustrated with randomness :(
This game is fantastic. The puzzle elements are top notch!! The platforming elements were unfortunately mildly frustrating at points. Particularly one jump in the top right section, I kept hitting my head as the mole when trying to get across to dig the final wall up top. I also wish there was more indication that you could stop the wheel rather than just accept the random outcome xD I dealt with the randomness for 90% of the game before spam clicking at one point and realizing it let me stop it early. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with this one! Such a cool idea and once I figured out the stopping the wheel thing, all the frustration was gone. I think this one small fix would basically bring this game into perfection territory tbh. Great job!!! <3
Have you played job job? That is a jackbox game and we did take some inspiration from it! Getting a silly score we thought could be fun where you could have moments where "why did this random thing give me so many points?" and the game is definitely designed to generate fun and silly moments rather than actually setting a high score. Thanks for the feedback though, and we're glad you enjoyed it!!
Heyyy, I actually made the scoring system! It's sort of based on pokemon snap where its super arbitrary and you dont really know how it works aside from general things like "size" or "direction." This type of system doesn't appeal to everyone, but I don't think it's possible to have a system that does, and we felt this way would be pretty fun xD
I don't think I've seen anybody here or on discord say thank you, which is a real shame because she took a lot of time to set up this event for our community, something even the mods have struggled with for a while. Let's show some love/appreciation for her and the Juniper mods (Dappernurd and Bufl) for making this happen! Yippppeeeeeee!!
