I'm glad I manage to hook you lmao, I had a really hard time finding the right balance for how hard the game had to be. Sorry for stressing you out tho :P

Totally fair, this game was kinda a homage to early era idle games and really old graphics. Definitely a weirder art style

Thank you for playing my game! I cut my game down by a lot, but couldn't bring myself to cut more off, didn't want to rush automations lol. I'm happy you played till the end :)

Thank you for trying out my game! I really appreciate the feedback.

Not exactly time crunch, but the game was initially a true idle game where there were hundreds of upgrades and could have lasted 10+ hours until completion (there was even a prestige system). I literally just chopped off 90% of the game and squeezed as much of the content into the final experience lol. (in order to give a sense of scale, the final upgrade before was 2 million coins).

I'm glad you liked my game! I believe I already rated your submission :)

Lmao, you're too kind. Thanks for playing my game!

Thanks for playing my game! The character changed shape due to the achievement you unlocked on beating the boss level. You can see your unlocked achievements on the main page in the trophy room, and choose the skin you'd most rather have.

I'm really glad you liked it! Definitely inspired by Wario Ware for this entry. Best of luck on the achievements (some are pretty hard)

Should be persistent, I believe it saves on local storage. I'm really glad you like it!

Honestly, the leaderboard one is less of an Easter egg, more of a prize, kinda

(1 edit)

Spoiler ahead!!!!

To find one Easter egg, read through the titles of the achievements in the trophy room. One should stand out, do what it says in the main room.

To find the other, you need to beat the leaderboards high score

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :) were you able to find the easter eggs, or would you like some pointers? (I know one you haven't found for sure)

Wait, I was rereading your replies, did you get to the congratulations room?

Hehehe

Thank you so much, I'm happy you liked the clock mini game. Definitely one of the more fun ones to implement

That's really weird then, because I used edge for testing development. Could you send me the console log in inspect element so I can diagnose?

Nice! I'm guessing you also got the secret room then 😊 did you try pressing P in the main room?

I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks!

Sorry you had issues, which browser was the one you were struggling with? I was thinking maybe making it skippable with clicking in the future to speed it up, it is a little slow rn

I'm glad you liked it! Sorry the default volume was too loud

Thank you! Yeah, you unlock new skins with achievements, you can pick your skin in the trophy room in the main page

I'm glad you like it! (note: there are 2 easter eggs in the game, one unlocks if you beat the high score in the leaderboard, and one if you do the name of one of the achievements somewhere

Thanks! Just a note, the avatar got changed because you unlocked achievements, you can change the skin based on unlocked achievements in the trophy room in the main room :)

Thank you! I'm glad you like it!

Also, thank you! That makes me really happy :)

Did you beat the high score?

Thank you for playing! I don't know why it's so inconsistent, it should be a 10% drop rate lmao. I've heard some great ideas (chance increasing the longer you don't get one, guaranteed drop every certain amount, etc.) for fixing it tho :P

I 100% agree, actually that's a really good idea, scaling the probability based on kills since last card. That's actually really clean, I'm noting that down. Definitely having one of those "why didn't I think of that" moments rn

Thank you for playing my game, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! I was actually trying to make it so you can drag the cards around, but I couldn't get it working clean before the time ran out lmao. Maybe next round I'll get it done :)

Thank you for playing! I agree with your idea of the first bad guy dropping a card, the 10% drop rate seems like a poor choice in hindsight lmao

Thank you for playing! The cards should have a 10% drop rate, but I've noticed it's a bit inconsistent. I might make something less rng in the future 😅

Thank you! The cards should have a 10% drop rate, but I've noticed it's been really inconsistent 😅 the card are also health 👍

Really cool concept, I like the idea of putting together robots from scrap pieces and seeing them fight. I do wish that I could use certain pieces in different areas, with more impact to the combat system. Also, I think that adding more intrigue to the actual building system (minigames for assembly, walking around to find pieces, etc) would have elevated the customization a lot.

I enjoyed your simple character creator, I especially liked the rotation of the character, while maintaining the simple shapes, very clever. One thing I wish there was would be more distinct customization options.

This was a fun submission. I like how you had to pick between certain traits, and going more in one direction impacted the other traits. Some minor thoughts I had were I think it could be cool to have environments that require you to really think about the changes (like a thin corridor or fast-moving conveyors) and make it so you can only change certain traits in certain area (like a little control booth for size). I also think it could be cool if the amount of each trait impacted the color of the character. Otherwise, really solid submission, I enjoyed collecting the diamonds (13 moves).

I enjoyed this game, I think the bullet hell experience was well put together. I really liked the dual customizations of both the enemies you are facing in the arena and the player. Some thoughts I had on customizations: I wish the changes felt more substantial, either by displaying which changes are active or more impactful effects. I also wish I could add more creatures to the arena, or that there was more risk/reward with getting money at the expense of a more challenging arena.

Really nice entry, I really like the aesthetics, sound design, and overall vibe. I think it was a cool touch that the character turned into a plushy. One minor thing that I thought could be a cool addition is a little more animation when mousing over buttons and letter and stuff. That would make it feel really interactive.

Yeah, later on it does get pretty difficult to collect cards, making the AI avoid it would help. I do want to move away from the current style, but if the next round is "make it vampire survivor-ish", I'll definitely take your feedback into consideration :)

It was great meeting you on stream! I liked the simple, straightforward options for the customizer. I do think adding a little more UI to the sliders to make it clear the ranges and how the classes modify them would be nice.
