Mobile optimization

  •   Navigation is easier to use on small screens.
  •   Drawing tiles now works properly with touch.
  •   Mural cells are easier to tap on phones.
  •   Buying, editing, and opening mural cells now support mobile-friendly tap interactions.
  •   Large mural views are easier to scroll and inspect.
  •   Editor fields and controls fit better on narrow screens.
  •   Color selection behaves better on mobile.
  •   About/pricing content is easier to read on small screens.

Also includes supporting technical improvements for touch handling, responsive layout, and mobile viewport behavior.

To make the early mural feel alive faster, I added progressive early-access pricing:

  • first 10k pixels are free   (limited to one tile per user)
  • next 10k: 1/8 price
  • next 10k: 1/4 price
  • next 10k: 1/2 price

The goal is to encourage early experimentation, weird pixel graffiti, tiny artworks, and internet chaos before the mural becomes crowded.

Hi everyone!

I’ve launched Pixel Mural — a collaborative 4K pixel-art  board made from small 16×16 tiles.
Project page: https://upelsin.itch.io/pixelmural

The idea is simple: many small pixel pieces from different people slowly form one large shared mural.

Each tile can contain a tiny artwork, sprite, avatar, logo, signature, or visual joke, and link to your game, portfolio, shop, website, social profile, or any other page you want to share. Use it as a tiny visual link, a small game icon, a pixel-art signature, or simply a way to leave a mark on a shared internet canvas.

Tiles can be updated over time. Since ownership is transferable, a tile can also be gifted, transferred, or sold later.

Transparency note:

Pixel Mural uses an on-chain ownership layer for tile ownership and transfers. The main point is still the shared pixel-art board, but I want to be upfront about how ownership works.

Would love to see some indie games and pixel artists represented on the mural.
