Cognitor can also be reverted after completion since it doesnt require permalocking. just tell the home assistant you want to stop.
For reverting permalocked Pony and Maid you have to build the Hourglass in your Home and use it, losing all Items you currently carry.
EDIT: note that i read here that the hourglass is currently broken (disappears without removing your gear). but it works in the previous version.

after you have seen the detritus *and have not other job like Pony or Cognitor* when you are back home and talk to Jean she will offer you to work as Maid **once**. you can accept or decline. if you decline you have to find another detritus and ask again i think. if you accept you have to wait for a recruiter/cognitor to start the maid track properly.
No real walkthrough needed imo; possible Spoilers ahead:
Freedom Ending:
Get a Deadkey Piece or unlock the Control Suit some other way, and when you then have no Locked Item on you tell Jean you are Free => Freedom Ending Achieved
Maid Ending:
→ Look at the Dirt in the Floors and ask Jean about it.
→ Accept to work as Maid
→ Get yourself caught by a Cognitor, who will Deadlock a Maid Item on you instead of the usual Shame Cage (requires that you need a long time for a Floor)
→ From now on clean up the Dirt on the Floors, especially if when entering a Floor it says you are required to do so. (Locks an Item on you if you dont)
Occasionally you will get rewarded with additional Maid Items when doing this. Equipping them helps with the Minigame (eg better rewards), but also makes it harder (more Projectiles and more Brooms to collect)
→ when you have the full Maid Set (5 Items) equip them all, find a Permalocker and use it (when you are near the Shoes will walk you to it) => Maid Ending Achieved
Prematurely ending the Maid Track: find a Convincing Letter of Resignation and hand it to Jean.
Ponygirl Ending:
→ Talk to the Trainer you find at the End of some Floors (best also bring a Box along that you find)
→ the Trainer will Equip and Deadlock the first Pony Item on you
→ From now on whenever Possible collect a Box and bring it to the Trainer (if there is a Trainer at the end you must bring her one Box, and usually if there is a Box in the Floor the Trainer waits at the end; Locks an Item on you if you dont))
You will be rewarded some Items doing this, and occasionally a Pony Item. These sadly dont have benefits iirc.
→ When you have the full Pony Set equipped (4 Items) the Trainer will ask you if you want to help them at the Stables. Accept.
→ (hint: at the Stables if you are slow while carrying Sully she will occasionally give you a huge Speed Boost with her Whip. Make use of that)
→ On the Stables Sully will tell you your Gear is loose and you must find and use a Permalocker to fix that. Do this.
→ After that take Sully to the Floor Exit => Pony Ending Achieved
Prematurely ending the Pony Track: un-equip all Pony Items, especially the one Deadlocked onto you.
Cognitor Ending:
→ Defeat a Cognitor (the tall Guys which appear whenever you take too long and give you a Shame Cage) and Collect his Mask (Takes 4 Hits!!!)
→ When back Home Equip the Mask and select that you want to work as Cognitor at the Home Assistant (the thing right of the Welcome Sign)
→ From now on you will be told on some Floors that there is a Slave there which needs to be Punished. Find her, hit her, and Equip a Shame Cage on her.
Hint1: The Room with that Slave is marked
Hint2: If you cannot see the Map just hit every Slave you see, until the Shame Cage appears on one of them. The Shame Cage wont appear for the wrong Slaves.
Hint3: Each Slave you gave a Shame Cage gives you 10 Reputation Points. Failing to give a Shame Cage when Required Reduces your Reputation by 5 Points.
→ At certain Reputation Levels you get new Cognitor Items from the Home Assistant (20, 40, 60 and 80 iirc). I think you are required to equip these to progress (might be mistaken), and un-equiping them will reduce your Reputation
→ When you have the full set (4 or 5 items, not sure) DONT find a Permalocker. That is not needed for this ending. Instead find one of these "Ring Things" on the Floor and Interact with it => Cognitor Ending Achieved
Prematurely ending the Cognitor Track: Tell the Home Assistant you dont want to work as Cognitor anymore (reomoves all equipped Cognitor Items). Also works after the Ending was achieved.
put shame cages on the slaves in the marked rooms on the levels where its requested. failure to do so will subtract points btw.
to do this just attack that slave and you will be given a choice of what restraints in your inventory to put on them. if you got the right slave there is also a shame cage in that selection.
Hi, I have some suggestions to improve the Wardrobe:
Instead of just throwing everything into kind of a misc chest:
=> Group similar Items together, with preference to complete Sets of Clothing/Gear
=> Per Set add a "Don all" button to quickly Equip a complete Set (when it makes sense). This Button Replaces all easily Doff-able Items (not locked in any way) and Dons the respective Item of a Set, if available
=> If you started a Set it will be shown in the Wardrobe, but the Items you havent obtained are hidden/empty until you get them. This doesnt apply to Groups without Set obviously.

Additonal Ideas taking this further:
It would also be cool when wearing a complete Set gave additional Boni, for example wearing the entire Money set (including the Coin Eyes) would allow to easily spot Money despite being blindfolded otherwise, and increases the Income. (so you can only see Money and yourself).
Or wearing the entire Ponygirl Set makes you incredibly fast.
Also if you have a complete set it would be cool to have specific "Challenge Runs" wherein that Set is deadlocked on you, and you have to pass Rooms that are specifically made for that Set (eg the "Money Challenge" is about Navigating Rooms where you basically must follow a trail of Money, the "Vantawhite Challenge" is about sneaking past Enemies, or cleverly directing them away from your desired Path)

just got through this game. Fun concept, too few levels :D (not critism, just want to say MORE! :D)
anyway, other suggestions if you want to flesh this out further:
A) make seperate controls for each char, eg WASD for the blonde and IJKL for the red haired girl, and keep the [Tab] to switch them.
B) i can imagine a multiplayer could be fun too (but i think the previous addition already enables this)
C) for more levels of course more mechanics are needed (eg physical chain that cannot magically teleport through walls, buffs that increase chain length, simultaneous moves when the chain is stretched to the max, etc..)
