Thank you :D

I made them for a visual novel I'm working on but sky backgrounds are pretty generic so I figured other people could find them useful too.

I used your music in my game https://unicorncreates.itch.io/make-your-girlfriend-happy

Thank you :D

Thank you so much for playing my game! I’m shook that someone made a video.

Thank you so much for taking your time to write out your comment. I’m happy to hear that you liked my game overall :D
Don’t worry about your comment being long, I appreciate your effort to write out your feedback and it means a lot to me!

I think you have a good point about the amount of “…”. It was definitely the easiest way to add in periods of silence but it makes sense that it may not end up being the best for user experience. I can definitely find a way to work in some narration/monologue/whatever else fits to replace some dots while retaining the same effect/atmosphere/message.

Spoilers re loop I can confirm that it's endless until you talk to Nicole about the glitching.

Thank you for your comment, I'm really happy to hear that you liked my game :D

Spoilers I can confirm that there's actually no way you can make her happy and that's the point of the game. It's about a toxic relationship and the glitching is more of a metaphor. If you were scared of her in that way then I take it as a sign that I did something right XD

I used your GUI assets in my game https://unicorncreates.itch.io/make-your-girlfriend-happy

Thanks for making it!

Hey, I used one of your tracks in my game https://unicorncreates.itch.io/make-your-girlfriend-happy

Thanks for sharing your music :D

Hey, I used your background in my game https://unicorncreates.itch.io/make-your-girlfriend-happy

Thanks :D

Thanks for clarifying!

Hey, I really like this background and I may use it at some point. Regarding the non-commercial use part, does it exclude projects with donations on?

Thanks!

Hey, I used a few of your backgrounds for my visual novel: https://unicorncreates.itch.io/make-your-girlfriend-happy

Thanks for making them :D

Thanks again, your comments really do mean a lot!

If the update doesn't come this month, it'll be in March depending on my free time. I also have a few story ideas (unrelated to this game) that I plan to make into visual novels after this, so keep an eye out for those too if you're interested :D

This GUI looks great. Is it for commercial use too?

Thank you for such a nice comment, it actually made me smile irl :D

I'll definitely update the game and add extra visuals (like the painting). It was already something I planned to do but I had to focus on the most important parts of the game to submit in time for a game jam lol. The update will probably happen towards the end of February as that's when I'll have time.

In fact, an original idea I had for this game was that you would play a minigame to make art for Nicole and it'll affect the story, kind of like the poem writing minigame in Doki Doki Literature Club. If this game gets a lot of interest, I'd love to make a long version of this game with my original ideas which includes the minigame, extra characters and a longer story.

Yeah, send me an email :D

Of course! Here are some of the stuff I've made in the past two years or so. The most recent ones are the first two which are for a visual novel that I've been working on in Ren'py.

Check out my Instagram for older stuff: https://www.instagram.com/unicorns.600/

As for programming, Python is the programming language that I'm most experienced in but I've touched on others like C/C++ and HTML. I'm not super experienced in any game engine but I may be able to help people out with technical stuff if anyone needs it.

Hi, I just discovered this jam and I'd love to contribute to it. Unfortunately, I know I won't have time to develop my own project so I'm here to see whether anyone needs a hand.

The services I'm offering are:

  • Art (character or background)
  • Programming

I'm particularly interested in working on a project that features a trans man but it's not a must. I also won't do anything too NSFW.

I don't really have a proper portfolio but I'm happy to share some stuff I've done if you're interested. Just email me at unicorndraws6@gmail.com and we can discuss further :)
