Hello, Since Browser Games websites lost popularity - such as miniclip, kongregate and armor games - I missed playing Hero Defense Games. My favorite was Elona Shooter, having played it until the game had so many monsters in the screen that it became too laggy to be playable. Recently, I could not find any other games like it, so I decided to make my own game, even without any programming experience. I got one "No coding required" game making software, and using only free assets, made one prototype of a Hero Defense game I would want to play for hours and hours, like many Java Games I played in the past. Mainly, this Hero Defense difference is in that you are supposed to walk around to positionate yourself to shoot, dodge and complete objectives. Plus, it should have unlockable content after each run (20-25 minutes), which gives the game replayability. I started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the game for assets and making developing it a Full-time endeavor. Since the prototype is free, please give it a try on https://underwaygaming.itch.io/hero-defense-battlefield. Hope it is of your taste! |

Hello !
I just finished the prototype of my first game ever!
The link is: https://underwaygaming.itch.io/hero-defense-battlefield
It took me around 2 months, the first month mostly being learning how to use the game making software, since I have 0 programming background.
It only uses free assets, since I don't know how to draw or make sound effects, and am unemployed so I can't expend anymore.
Let me know what you think about the game, and if you have any suggestions. It is my first attempt on making a game, so I know there should be many places I can improve and that you, more experienced developers, know it. I am gratefully accepting any critique.
That is it, hope you enjoy it!
