Once I somehow managed to open the curtains, but now I can't repeat it — I tried holding both mouse buttons for a few seconds, am I doing something wrong?
Really liked the palette and art, want to finish the game :)

Thank you!! Glad the moon logic somewhat works as moon logic, as I was wondering during the making of it if we'd even make something... comprehensible for human mind at all. Seems like we did hit a spot here. Glad to see you appreciate the writing! I agree that it's quite excellent (as someone who was not in charge of the writing beasides the general outline which we came up with together)
Thank you so much! Yeah, day 3 was indeed a bit much, though we also wanted it to have a difficulty spike but well we didnt have that much time to iterate on the gameplay so we got an overly hard level at the end. Well, it happens. Thank you! It is indeed the first game. Before the jam both of us studied gdscript and created small trial projects (one for each of us) in godot in order to learn as much as possible in 2 weeks, and once the preparations were done, we jumped here.
a masterpiece.Loved the sound design. Accidentally visited the cave to early (was looking for lettuce) and my character still said that they need spicy peppers though they shouldnt have known that yet. Very fun, with sufficient amounts of jank (accelerating with shift was fun but even than there was a lot of walking xD). The concept is fresh too. Unlike the chicken wings I borrowed from that Dino which were already cooked
The style is very cool, everything is tied together visually. The game is also deliberately obtuse to how it works which is both good and bad, and both good bad and bad bad and good good and bad good... you get the gist. Anyway this specific aspect made me stare at the cards. Like I hae a giggle when I realised its Tarot or cathed a reference to a poet. The cards were hard to take out of the hand sometimes, which is janky enough, but maybe a bit too janky to play sometimes xD I also loved the oval transitions and the music. And sound effects. And the simplicity of the concept.
I loved the twist and the flow of the game, the way the gameplay reveals itself was very cool. And then it's just so so COHERENT. Very simple and clean, very concise in its idea and how it communicates it through gameplay (and the debug screen, of course). Same with visuals, simple and clean and works 100%.
