You're so good, thank you! I had a big think when pulling this story all together and definitely pleased with how it came out :))

Ah thanks so much for playing and delighted that it resonated with you even if you didn't know about it :)) I actually had a CFR today in celebration of this nice comment haha!

Heya Luck! Dropped you a friend request on Discord :))

Ah cheers!! :)) Basically my goal at the moment is try out as many game engines as I can ha!

OMG what a compliment. I loooooooooovvvvvvvvvvve Becky Chambers' books. Haven't read To Be Taught, If Fortunate but it's on my list! :))

Ah cool!! Yeah, CFR was the very first solo game I made :))

Ah thank you! They're all quite different but loving all the creative processes.

Currently in the middle of NaNoRenO which is a visual novel game jam!

Oh wow!!! Thank you so much - really delighted that it resonated with you. I had such a good time pulling this together and admittedly felt emotional too when I was playtesting while building. Go plants!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaas, you got the BBY

Immaculate vibes - beautiful art with lots of movement and texture to the design. Definitely would love to see more in this style. Well done!!

Oh gosh! Thank you so much - really appreciate you playing and your kind words :)) I had a lot of fun making it!!

i did it! i completed my very first gamejam game 🥰 Presenting: From the Ground Up, a narrative-driven, story-rich game where plants are searching for Her. A story that slowly unravels. Around 20-30 mins gameplay. The theme for the jam was: grow!

Play it for free here.

Ahh you’re so good thank you - yes I love being a plant parent!!

Oh hey! I'm from Tralee lol - this is lovely. Bitsy is such a great little engine.

Aw thank you! This was such a nice read and brightened my evening! I've been mulling over a CFR expansion but not quite sure what route it will take yet.

No I'm not in that community!

I wanted to challenge myself and decided to try to make a game using a kid's game engine! I didn't have any coding classes growing up, so I was excited to give this a go & purposely limit myself using the Scratch engine.

Here's my game: Top Potato!

(I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to mute a fart noise.)

You're too good - THANK YOU!

haha gas!

She’s alive! My second solo game is out now. Another Day in Paradise is a narrative adventure game made lovingly in the Bitsy Engine.

You'll like my narrative adventure game if you like:

Weird things made by creative people
Meeting cats, frogs & dogs
Puzzles so easy you could make them yourself
Lamenting the games industry

Aw you're so good! I honestly wish I had the amount of money that the PC had spent that much on rolls lol I thought I'd get sick of CFRs after researching and writing about them but nope, still can't resist. Now to come up with more games ha!

Inheritance is a pure interactive fiction and portfolio piece made in the Inky app and using Inkle Studio’s narrative scripting language “Ink”.

So what’s it about?

This is a neatly packaged story about the half-elf Xavorin (Xavi) Venwarin during his teenage years. Xavi is a Lord of the Venwarin Vineyard, and a character I play in Dungeons and Dragons 5E. He’s a rather chaotic Blood Hunter who’s entangled with frost magic.

Thus, within this piece, you will find minor fantasy elements. However, it’s worth mentioning that it’s not heavy on that end; you do not have to be an expert in D&D to understand what’s going on.

The core element here is the story. It’s something I wrote up quite a while ago, but I wanted to bring it to another medium as a way to showcase some of my other creative work using Ink. Play it here.

It's a wild ride!

This is my first solo game made in Twine. I'm an Irish-Asian games producer and Chicken Fillet Rolls is about an Irish staple sandwich. This piece of interactive fiction was a lot of fun to make and is written in Hiberno-English. It takes about 30 minutes to play and has a lot of branching choices.

Play Chicken Fillet Rolls here. Below is what the home page looks like, and the game pages also has links to my Game Design Doc as well as a behind the scenes vid!
