Thank you very much for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the game. About the bug, it wasn't intentional ahah, there should be the "quit anyway" button when trying to exit the game. I'll check it out.

Really nice idea, the game was fun. Well done!

This game was really fun and creative. I loved the retro art style and all the references. You should definitely continue the development. Great Job!

The game has a great idea and I liked the art style. I think you should explore this concept further experimenting with levels and puzzles and maybe some other spells. Well done!

Oh, I thought I fixed that bug. Anyway thank you very much for playing the game and for your feedback!

Love your energy. Thank you for playing our game

Yes, I feel you. Last-minute implementations are tough and you miss a lot of things.

Not the starter content, but probably some unused assets/textures. Unfortunately I couldn't make an accurate selection on time. I think I will fix this and other issues in the next few days.

Then , I'm glad you got ispired by our game. If you wanna know I asked my friend, he's studying the book "The unity shaders bible" and obv experimenting.

This game was very fun to play, the art style is really nice and the input are responsive. Maybe you could highlight the elements you can interact with for more clarity. Anyway you did a great job, the dialogues and situations were so random, I loved them!

Really nice short game with great art style. It has definitely the potential to become an addictive mobile game :D

Well done!

Nice platformer with really nice story! About the gameplay, I think the movements would need some fine tuning because the game felt a little too slow to me but maybe it was intentional. You could also add some animations when you fall down and respawn or some parallax effect to the background, making the game more alive.

Anyway you did a good job!

I loved this game and its unpredictability. It was fun and SFX and Music perfectly match the mood, great Job! However, in the platforming section there seem to be some invisible obstacles along the way, was it made on purpose? Maybe you can also add some hint or visual suggestion when you are about to be kicked out of the game.

Btw the game I made was based on the same concept idea, but it came out completely different ahaha

Love the retro pixel art and the idea is really interesting. However it's a little difficult to play because of the movements that sometimes don't responde to the input (the left/right turn). Maybe, as you said, it was due to issues exporting the game here, I don't know. Anyway you did a great job!

(1 edit)

Really cute! Informations and controls are clear and it was fun to play. Maybe the character movement is a little sticky but, as you said in a comment, it's hard to polish the game in just one week. The number of elements to handle (water, insecticide, trash, etc.) is not overwhelming but it allows the run to become more and more challenging. Good job!

Btw on my first run plants died in 5 minutes ahaha

I truly appraciate your feedback and I'm happy you enjoyed the game! About the download thing, I know it was not the best choice, I'm really sorry about that. We still have to learn a lot  about optimization and maybe the next time we will be able to upload on itch.io. Btw do you happen to know any better alternatives to google drive?

When I saw the material stuff, it was crazy for me too ahah. I definitely have to ask my friend, because if I don't get wrong he did almost all the materials itself. He would like to become a tech artist, so he's studying shaders and how they work and then experimenting.
