Love the slow style of the game. I'm also working on a 2D RPG myself. On one hand, I'm still developing the gameplay, but I realize that a story is also necessary. You have thought about the story already, that's great! I'm curious to see if you'll continue to develop this game.

If you're interested in my progress, feel free to follow me: https://ultralord81.itch.io/eternal-darkness. It would be great to provide each other with feedback as we continue to develop our games.

A nice game with good looks. I'm also working on a 2D RPG myself. On one hand, I'm still developing the gameplay, but I realize that a story is also necessary. I think that might not be fully worked out in your game yet either. I'm curious to see where you'll go from here.

I am working on a game https://ultralord81.itch.io/eternal-darkness where I am using your assets.

Thank you for making them available.

I was wondering if you are happy with what I am doing with them and if you would like to see what happens with them?

This is the first version that's playable enough to make public. https://ultralord81.itch.io/eternal-darkness

In this first version, it contains:

1. A player you can control with a virtual joystick.

2. Animations for the characters movement and idle, along with a sword swing animation for the player.

3. A text window to display useful information.

4. Added sounds, background music, and SFX.

5. Added chests that spawn coins or health; the amount to spawn is random.

6. The player can die if their health hits zero.

I hope to make the game much more interesting. You should be able to buy an upgrade for the weapon from an NPC. The game needs more levels and a compelling story."
