🍄 Hello, itch.io community!
I want to share with you the story I've been working on, Mushroom Boy. This is my first game.
It's not just a pixelated horror story, but a reflection on what a real home is. Is it an apartment? Four walls? Or maybe something completely different?
You'll be making decisions for a boy who has run away from his parents. Meeting old friends brings hope, but are you sure the danger is truly behind you? Will he be able to find the right home? The answer will depend on you.
About the game:
· 🕹️ Duration: 10-20 minutes.
· 🎨 Style: Pixel graphics.
· 🎵 Sound: Atmospheric music that immerses you in the story.
· 👻 Genre: Analog horror that plays on your perception.
· 🌍 Languages: English and Russian.
I will be very glad if you share your thoughts.:
· What does the word "home" mean to you?
· Which games that play with atmosphere and perception have made the strongest impression on you?
Do you have any ideas on how to explore this topic even more deeply?
