Building a 2D action game in Godot(not that experienced, beginner dev) about a father who becomes death itself to get his daughter back. I'm a solo dev, self taught, a few weeks into a playable prototype with movement, wall jump, dash and attack done. Looking for an artist who wants to co-develop, not just draw assets someone who'll push back on the story, bring their own ideas, grow with the project. This isn't a job listing, it is to find a creative co developer
The game has a talking scythe, ash dash where the player dissolves and reforms, and a death screen system where every time you die you see a memory of the daughter you're trying to bring back.
