So I tried to get used to the new art style but I have to admit, it just doesn't work for me.

It's not bad, it's just. I prefer the original art style. Different strokes for different people and all that.

As someone who bought the game before the change, I find it disappointing.

I know it's not really itch.io but their payment processors that forced this, but it's still unacceptable and the result will be the same either way. Anyone that can't see the slippery slope we are on, is at best, wilfully ignorant.

I'm delighted to learn I was wrong!

Much sadness. I was really enjoying this story but I fear we will never get a conclusion. 

I truly hope I'm wrong and the author is merely taking their time before returning refreshed and enthusiastic about the story once more.
