I liked the original art style. I’ll admit I have some trauma from Contra-style games, so I didn’t have much patience to finish it haha, but it’s clear you put a lot of effort into the project. Congratulations, I hope to see future versions someday, I’d love to play them.

I really liked the art style and especially the color choices.

I’ll admit it’s not really my type of game, but it feels very polished and complete, especially for a jam game.

A unique idea while still keeping things simple, I like that. Great job!

I really like pinball games, you did a great job, really cool!

The art turned out really great, congratulations! Are the assets original?

Without a doubt one of my favorites from the games I’ve played in this jam.

Really good idea, I think everyone can relate to it :) I loved the low poly models.

Thanks for the reference! I like the animation, but I didn’t know that episode, I loved the character style in it haha. And thanks for playing!

Haha I think that matches the game pretty well.

Really fun game, well made, with great pixel art and sound.

Thanks a lot for playing!

Yes, I definitely plan to keep working on this project after the jam, the original idea is quite different from what I managed to build here, and I’d really love to bring it to life. I also want to keep the visual style and properly add the effects and environments I already designed.

Thanks for playing!

I’m working on another 2D skateboarding project for some time now, and I’ll share it on itch.io soon for feedback. If you can, feel free to follow for updates :)

I liked the character idea, good game.

Simply videogame 2.

Congratulations on the game, I loved the graphics and music!

The frog design is really cool, but the game was very difficult for me, I could barely get past the first platform haha.

Good visuals and atmosphere.

(1 edit)

Great game, the gameplay and graphics are amazing, better than Sonic haha.

Congratulations to the developers!

Really cool take on the theme, and the surfing idea works great. The character’s 3D model is really good too. I found a few issues with the camera, since sometimes the character goes off-screen.

The platforming movement feels really good, and I liked the Atari-style visuals.

Very interesting game! It really has some unique ideas, like feeding chickens haha, really good!

It’s interesting to see a two-player mode, congratulations on the project!

I kept looking for an ending, but I guess there just isn’t one haha. Overall, pretty good!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Yeah, I noticed that issue too. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to properly fix it before the jam submission deadline ended.

I definitely plan to remake and expand this project in the future with the original idea I had in mind. Initially, it was supposed to be physics-based rather than a platformer, but since this was my first project in GDevelop, I changed direction so I could still finish something in time for the jam.

Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback!

I’m really glad you liked the idea of going all the way to the moon, the concept actually came from a little “Rick and Morty style" story I had in mind, mixed with some classic real-life skateboarders as inspiration.

And yeah, some of the platforms got a bit awkward sometimes haha, I didn’t manage to fix that in time. I was originally working on a more physics-based movement system, but it was taking longer than I expected, so near the end I switched to a simpler platform-style movement just so I could finish the game and participate in the jam.

Thanks again for giving it a try!

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

And yeah… I can’t unsee that now haha 😄

Thanks for the suggestion, it’s on the list for a future update.

I was using Construct 3 r449, but after testing, my project worked better on r397 and it seems to have solved my issue. So far everything is OK.

By the way, thanks for the plugin, great work!

Hi, I’m using this plugin and seeing inconsistent behavior with recent Construct 3 versions. In some environments, 3D models load late or not at all. The same build works on my machine but fails on others.

Is this a known compatibility issue? Which Construct 3 version do you recommend for building projects with this plugin?

Glad you played, well done!!

My first published game! Link from the game page here 👈

Hello! I just published this game, it's a platform game with combat, where the goal is to collect items in the scenario and get better scores.

This is a finished version, with not many contents as you would like it to have but that guarantees a few hours of gameplay. I would like to inclement new features and publish it on Steam, but it depends on a good reception of the game, of you players.

Watch the video here 😁
