Thank you so much for supporting it early,  I’m so happy you loved the demo! Full Act 1 is out now, and since you already paid you don’t need to buy it again

• If you were logged in when you bought it, go to itch.io/my-purchases and it’ll be there to download.

• If you bought it without an account, search your email for the itch.io receipt (check spam too). It has your download link.

If it’s still not showing up, message us on Instagram @twindarkstudio and I’ll sort it out right away!

Thank you so much, Knowing Wren and Vesper made you cry honestly means everything to me. That softness was exactly what I hoped would come through. Book 2 is on its way, and I can’t wait for you to see what’s next for them!

Thank you!! So glad you liked it

Ahh thank you! That opening was one of the first things I wrote, so I’m really glad it landed.

Hi everyone! I’m the developer of GodsEater, a story-rich fantasy god game about answering prayers, forging angels, and surviving gods who would happily devour you.

It begins with Wren, an eight-year-old girl whose mother is sick. She asks the sky for a miracle, and something answers.

You.

From your ruined Hall above the world of Mote, you decide what kind of god to become. Every miracle costs power, and you can’t answer everyone. Meanwhile, your worshippers grow older, your angels develop opinions, and the gods above begin to notice you.

The complete Act 1 (Book I) is available for $5.99 USD or more. This release contains the first act; the wider story remains in development.

There’s also a completely free browser demo on the same page, so you can try the opening before buying.

Play the free demo or get Full Act 1 on itch.io

I’d love to hear what you think of the opening, which prayers you chose to answer, and whether Vesper makes a convincing first employee for a newborn god. Feedback and bug reports are welcome!

thank you.
