I'm super into nearly everything about this game... and I'm looking forward to catching up with content from before the reboot! New stuff!

Buuuut my one major issue is that the sex animations are fairly lackluster and basic. Sometimes the way they happen is just awkward and abrupt with very little, if any, foreplay, and transitions between positions or camera angles feels somehow too... quick? Not really sure what it is I'm having problems with on that particular point, so it might be that it's just a side effect of the other issues I have. I know for a game dev the worst thing to hear is "other games do it better", so I hate to say this, but... D: D: !

I know it's tough 'cause I have no doubt the animations are the absolute hardest part of these kinds of games. And it seems like you're invested in making the animations unique instead of using stock stuff, so I understand that makes it even tougher. (Keep that up, though, if you think you can! Seeing the exact same animations everywhere gets exhausting.)

Also it sucks that the repeatable sex-affection (sexfection?) scenes have no finish! Just a single animation and then boop it's over. ):

Don't take this as all negative, though. Like I said, I love everything else about it. The girls are great and hot and/or cute and it's goofy and fun and charming and I can't wait for more.

tbh i almost wish you'd focus full-time on this even though i like your other game haha

i don't even think it's it's better - in fact i like bad memories way more - it's just that it's unique, where bad memories is part of a large group of real-life-mystery-harem games (big fan of those, tbh!), so it's fun to get a wildly different experience

Yeah, I've progressed far enough at this point that I know what happens with everyone, but I still banged Katie way before Molly was anything more than an annoying piece of shit (I prioritized the gym for a bit, since strength ended up being my weakest stat at first). Timing wise it just makes no sense. It's not like I wasn't already actively pursuing and mad crushing on Emily by that point. Molly didn't happen until at least a week later (maybe more, I wasn't keeping track at the time).

It's not like it's a game-breaking issue, but it's a weird thing that stood out to me. If I didn't like the writing so much otherwise, I probably wouldn't even bother mentioning it. :P

I have to say it makes absolutely no sense that he feels so guilty about the junk with Molly (which is where I just got) but willingly and freely chases after Katie and her cousin and I'm sure others I haven't gotten to yet.

I mean, otherwise, the game is great, though!

It would be cool and neat and useful if there was a little icon next to the names in the hint menu for conveying whether they have an event ready or not.

Also, I was gonna wait until I finished all the available content to see if that reveals anything, but it's driving me nuts every time I go there to check for flowers... Sooo, while I'm here, what the heck is this fairy at the lake!!?

Wow, I just finished chapter one.

This is really good. Love it a lot. Funny, charming, and I want to strangle Cassandra. I'm definitely gonna buy into the second chapter soon. MAN!!! Good.

Thank you for making a main character in an adult-targeted VN that isn't a complete douche bag. It's not like no other games do that, but it's absurdly rare, and this is such a high quality game that I appreciate it all the more. Part of it is I'm sure because it's not a porn game like so many others, but hey, whatever, I'm still thankful.

Yeah but some games get around it by letting you enter a custom relationship. It's always obvious it's meant to be incest, but by leaving it up to the player, they get around it. I guess.

So, I'll accept that as an alternative!

I'm not really a fan of incest, but I'm even less of a fan of writing that doesn't make any sense. There's grammar issues here and there, but that's fine, as it's a work in progress, but some problems run deeper...

It's far too obvious that "childhood friend" is just a find-and-replace for sister, and if that's not going to be addressed I'd rather just have an option to call her "sister" or "little sister" or whatever. Same goes for the guardians/parents, but that crops up way less. It's a huuuuge pet peeve of mine. D:

Anyway, that aside, I really like this game so far. It's goofy and fun and I like urban fantasy and detective stories. Maeve rules. Nice job!

Are those animations in the screenshot section exclusive to the paid  version? I've only seen the blowjob one. EDIT: Haha nevermind, I was so close to seeing them, just had to play a little more.

Just finished the showcase. Took a bit to click exactly how the navigation worked, but I liked that. No hand-holding! The girls gave just the right amount of information, and I worked from there. I hope you keep this level of challenge and discovery. :D

Only problem I had, a technical one, is I have an ultra-wide monitor, and when I played full screen, the game was zoomed in to fit the width of the screen, instead of the height. This meant I couldn't see the top or bottom of the levels (and it took me too long to figure that out, possibly because I'm a slow dumb dumb). Switching to windowed fixed the issue, but figured I'd let you know!
