Thank you for the feedback, I will look into it immediately.

Hi — DeVBen95,

I’m a developer who enjoys building calm, system-driven games, and your description reads like a deliberate return to what made classic RTS titles compelling in the first place. Die Völker is a reference I genuinely appreciate for its pacing, clarity, and depth without overload.

I strongly agree with what this project is not: no monetization pressure, no grind mechanics, no stress-driven design. I prefer working on tight, readable systems, early playable builds, and iterating toward a finished one-time purchase game rather than a live-service product.

I’m comfortable working in Godot (2D) and favor a practical approach: start small, validate the core loop quickly, and expand only where it adds meaningful depth. If it’s useful, I’d be happy to propose a focused 2-week prototype to explore unit control, production flow, and overall “calm RTS” feel before committing further.

If this aligns with how you’d like to proceed, I’d enjoy discussing vision, scope, and collaboration terms.

Best regards,

Manic Mike
