this is untrue.

'yaoi otomes' do not exist. There can be games with elements of BOTH yaoi and otome (example- Our Life, a game where you can play as male or female) but unless you intend to add an option to play as a female character, which is the core of the otome genre, you cannot describe your game as an otome. it is a BL game, a yaoi game, or a romance visual novel. please stop redefining the term otome, there is no shame in calling your game a yaoi game, as that is what it is- please remove the otome tag.

PS: very top of the wikipedia article of otomes: An otome game (Japanese: 乙女ゲーム, Hepburnotome gēmulit. "maiden game"), is a story-based video game that is targeted towards women. Generally one of the goals, besides the main idea/goal, is to develop a romantic relationship between the female main player character and one of the usually male, secondary lead characters.

(please note the phrase 'female main player character.')

I would have to agree. I don't hate the author by any means, but the fact that we live in a society where people are discouraged from writing because they feel like it's "insensitive" even when it's not... kinda hurts. and this is coming from someone who is technically POC (Asian-American)

I guess that it just feels sad that even so much as mentioning another ethnicity or a cultural issue is now a big no-no... So many great stories may never be told.

This is the most entertaining Itch.io page I've seen yet.

Oh, I see. Thank you!

To my knowledge I have gotten every CG and every ending, yet for some reason the last two achievements (The top and bottom ones on the right side) Won't unlock. Is there something I'm missing?

Alas... Another dead project... Oh well, such is life.

It's totally a scam. But hey, at least it was only $20.

They're still sketchy though. I do think that the artists for the game are still active on deviantart however, so maybe someone could ask them?

Thank you so much!

Quick question: for the characters in polyamory routes, do they only have polyamory routes, or can you play them separately? Not trying to shame anyone, poly romance just isn't my thing. I think that description says they can be played without polyamory, but better safe than sorry,

It's messier than my hair on Monday morning.

Ahaha, here we are two years after I discovered this game... And what do we have to show for all that waiting? Jack Squat.

If there was some reason, ANY reason given to why they completed two routes and then gave up, It'd be fine, but it honestly just looks like they took the money, sent out a sympathy gift, and ran off. Jeezus.

Is there a choice guide?

Sorry for being a scrub, I just like to have a rundown of how to get game endings just in case, so I don't start banging my head against a wall in frustration.

Nevermind, I found it. It's called MemoryTrees: Forget-Me-Not in case anyone wanted to know :3

This certain one in particular. At least, I think it was a farming game? Anywaay... so I was browsing Itch.Io a few months ago, and I saw the game, but I didn't get it at the time, and I soon forgot the name, but now I can't find it anywhere! From what I remember, it was done with an anime style, and there were many bachelors in it. There was also two different versions available; a censored and a non--censored version. Does anyone know what this game is? Thanks!

I'm not gonna lie, this is easily one of the best VN games ever. As in EVER. seriously, I even prefer it to big name games like Amnesia and Hakuoki. Really, it's THAT good!

Uwaaaa! it's So cute! and it's voice acted!! even the MC! the MC is never voice acted!! sorry I need to calm down.. I just love the game too much >///<
