Really cute game! It felt like an old RPG where you had to remember what NPCs need what items / gold to be recruited, and where to find them.

Platformer with a really cool mechanic, I enjoyed it :)

Held it for over 5 minutes, was a really fun game! Took me a minute to realize that the circle around the stabilizer was a cooldown timer and not how long I had to hold my mouse down on it lol

Fun and creative game :)

The guy with the big sword gets basically one shot later on lol

Not sure how this fits the theme of the jam, but I like the 3d models!

Upgrading and getting stronger was fun, the art and shaders kinda hurt my eyes though lol

Fun action game good work :)

Like Stardew Valley fishing but the stakes are way higher.

Really enjoyable game! Music had a great beat that made it easy to keep in time with.
If you move quick it's hard to find the patterns in the other dancers to avoid them.

Interstesting take on a platformer - trying to find the best route that gets you closest to the timer rather than going as fast as possible. Couldn't get past level 1, kept dying at ~290 speed, couldn't get to 300 :( Was a fun game though!

Cool survivor-like, upgrades were satisfying but I also found the shop hard to navigate.

Cool gameplay and interesting power ups. After I died at section 4 I didn't want to have to start all the way over though :(

Yep potions are just an item that has an effect that happens once a battle. I will change the name of the item slot after the jam so people know you don't need to manually consume it

Thanks for playing!

This game jam has some of the most potential of any game jam I've ever played. Really exciting game!
The combat animations were a bit too slow and I would have loved some kind of SFX to go with the clickable circle indicator in combat.
Also I don't think I was using all of the systems correctly. I had like 10 different timebomb modules but only noticed a timebomb do damage once, and it did 1 damage lol. I didn't see any reason not to equip all of my modules on one action (either attack or special) and then only use that action. And when I first started the game there was a big menu where it looked like I would equip items or something but I didn't have any. Even after beating the first boss I never got sent back to that first menu so I didn't understand what it was for.
The polish on the menus, animations, buttons, etc. was top notch. Well done!

Cohesive art and sound, really well polished.
I would have loved an objective to push me to really experiment with combining different colors / body types to achieve a certain look / fill out a log or something. I could see potential ways this could grow into an interesting experience.

Good game jam entry! Congrats on your first GWJ and welcome :)
Didn't read the instructions until I had killed 60 mutants and realized I had to upgrade my character manually. Cool take on a game and I really appreciated the tweening of the bars at the bottom, it was satisfying to look at
I like the risk vs reward but it didn't feel great to kill a bunch of mutants and spend currency just to reduce my own stats if I tried to upgrade too early / got unlucky :(

Cute survivors-like. Congrats on your first GWJ entry :)

Some of the best and most memorable art I've ever seen in a game jam, really well done! And definitely an original game, haven't seen something like this.

My first patient I got 4 bad mutations in a row and instantly died (I didn't realize the memorization game was happening the first time until halfway through it) so I got pretty unlucky lol. Played again and got to patient 7 but kept getting bad rolls and having to do the memory game until I eventually failed it from a misclick. The luck can be pretty brutal, I would have loved some form of bad luck protection.

Also not sure if I'm the only one, but the panning in the music was giving me vertigo so I had to turn off the music. It seemed like good sound if it didn't pan so much!

My right hand went through hell and back but it was a really fun journey! It's a really good take on the incremental genre! 5/5 fun
I think I would have preferred if evolution 2 was gamma breath instead of the tail so that I could click less earlier in the game. Also the SFX got annoying quick.

Really cool effects and gameplay! Fun game :)
Would have liked a way to reroll mutations you got. I had a good attack speed build going and then kept getting the decision between getting minus attack speed or minus attack damage.

Thanks for playing, I'll be updating / balancing after the jam so the mutation feels more consistently impactful. The poison / aoe build was unintended but when I discovered it I decided to keep it in. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks for the feedback, I'll make the tooltips larger, hadn't noticed how small they can be especially if you don't play on fullscreen.

Appreciate the feedback, glad you liked it :)

Thanks for playing!

Appreciate the positive feedback :)
The attack speed build definitely feels really strong, hoping to make more updates / buffs to the other builds after the jam.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback! I think with some better balance and a couple of tweaks the item mutation could feel more impactful. I'm hoping to update it after the jam and keep exploring the fun in it :)

Really cool game! I think I got lucky and hit a couple of very rare yips early that completely stomped everything in their path. I would have liked to understand the breeding a bit more - it felt like the yips I bred weren't as powerful as the ones I could just buy in the field.

I high rolled and completely destroyed the competition in the second race. I liked the modular art you guys used!

Great art style for a game jam!

Only learned there was more buttons than jump + move after I collected all the coins and got to the top of the tower, but it was fun getting there :)

Would have loved to have an invert mouse option as somebody that plays with invert Y axis on most games.

Enjoyable puzzle game with a unique color mechanic :)

The graphics, characters, and theme were great!

I picked the bee swarm as my first weapon and it was pretty weak so I ended up dying. I wanted to play again but it sent me back to the beginning of the unskippable dialogue! Would love to see a way to skip the dialogue and see the gameplay more easily.

Fun incremental game managing battling slimes once it gets going.
The early game is a bit slow, wish there was a way I could click or do something manually to help my slimes fight or gain gold.

Reminded me of a blend of Everything is Crab and Vampire Survivors. Cute game!

The levels were each unique and interesting to navigate through, and overall was a fun short experience. Good work!
Would have preferred to have "Start" be spacebar instead of enter with how many hands were resting on my keyboard for the controls.

I shot all my coins at the beginning not realizing they were one time use lol

Cute little game I played until around level 30 and called it quits. Well done!

Well done jam game! The levels were hard enough to be interesting but easy enough to not be frustrating.  Also the sounds and little animations for everything (especially when beating a level) were top notch. Well polished.

Pretty unique game, felt like a lot was out of my control though and bad spawns would make the colors alternate too much for the spider to eat enough.

Honestly impressive for a first Godot project!

Once I learned how to read the signs it was an interesting game. Because the controls / physics were really janky it felt difficult - I expected to teleport above the doll but it would teleport me below, so I always had to teleport before it lands on the ground or I'd fall through the floor into spike. It led to some fun mechanically difficult plays.

Would have liked the text from the signs to scroll much faster or be instant!

Short and sweet strategy game, well done :)
