Hi Relma. Thank you for reporting the bug. We've been testing Options panel on Linux version without any problem. Maybe it was a one-time odd bug. Could you test it again? If the game still crashes, we would appreciate if you send us the Player.log file to contact@trimtangle.com. On linux, it's located on ~/.config/unity3d/TrimTangle/Therefore/Player.log. Therefore is an indie non linear exploration adventure game located in a small pixel open world made by a small team inside the Trim tangle nexus. This universe and its lore is based on Plato theory of Forms: Reality is made from ideas.
Therefore tells the story of the Wanderer in red, an anonymous being that awakens in the First Realm without a past and without a voice having the Dreamer as his only guide. The Wanderer has an innate power: Taking ideas (essences) from his surroundings and mixing them to create useful items called Relics.
His goal is to find the backdoor to the center of reality where he is expected. For that he must explore the First Realm, find the so-called Guardians and get, at least, one of the Primeval Hearts they custody in order to open the entrance.
The Wanderer soon finds out that the First Realm and all reality is slowly falling apart, and also that this day is the last day of existence. When the night comes, all life will cease to exist.
Fortunately, the Wanderer will be bestowed with the Memento Mori ability that allows him to restart the day whenever is necessary or speed it up in order to fulfill his quest.
Will the Wanderer uncover the mysteries about this threat and also himself? Only your findings and your actions will lead him to one of the different endings and decide the fate of the First Realm and reality itself.
This is a demo versión of the prologue (more than 1 hour long) and the game is still in development. But we hope you like it.
