Thanks for playing!

There’s a win streak counter, but it’s on the “New Game” screen: it shows up below the “player vs cpu” icon (the game only counts the win streak for vs cpu matches). It only shows up if the streak is larger than 0, though.

You can also see your “progress” towards the achievements on the achievements screen. They show up besides the checkbox (for the achievements that require a win-streak)

Regarding the pvp achievements, I had them during development but eventually removed them as it was way too easy to just cheese them (just play against yourself and lose lol). Nonetheless, it would be cool to keep track of win-streaks for each “side” of pvp matches.

BTW: did you figure out the secret achievement? :P

Hi! Thanks for playing and for leaving feedback. It means a lot!

Thanks for using a little larger font! Some games try to cram it all onto the tiny screen, but you’ve left some good space.

For like 90% of the development I didn’t have a real Playdate so I had no idea how big the text would look. Fortunately got the text size right the first time and once I got a Playdate to test on it was perfect and didn’t have to change any text. Nice!

But why not use the crank to rotate?

I thought about it (some playtester friends also suggested it), but ended up not doing it because it was cool like one time, but got annoying fast. Imagine picking up and putting down chess pieces with the crank, it would get annoying fast.

Also, why not use a custom wrapping-pattern.png file, and not the default one? And the System Menu. There’s already the great background image behind the Achievements screen.

Oops, forgot about it, my bad! haha Regarding the system menu, I use it to show a “give up” option during a match. In the menus I couldn’t think of anything to add to it.

And it’s a small thing, but it seems that the up and down arrows are larger than the left and right ones. It’s more obvious on the greyed out ones, but it kind of breaks the physicality of the disks.

Nice catch! Looked at the game so long that I completely missed it. They do that because of the pattern I’m using to make them greyed out.

I love the 2-player mode. If Panic really ships networking, head-to-head would be amazing!

Haven’t taken a look at it yet, but yeah, that would be cool!

Again, thanks for all the feedback! Might take me a bit until I come back to this to fix or add stuff, though, as by the end I was a bit burned out ;P
