Catch wild creatures, build a scrappy base, and survive a bizarre hand-drawn cartoon world that fights back.

Hi everyone! We just released the demo for Kalit and we’d love your feedback.
Kalit is a hand-drawn 1930s cartoon open-world survival adventure where you can capture creatures, build and automate a base, and survive a strange wilderness full of danger and weirdness.

You can:
- Catch and command creatures (for combat and base work)
- Explore freely by climbing, gliding, and swimming
- Build / craft / farm to survive
- Fight enemies with melee and ranged weapons
- Manage sanity and temperature while exploring the world

Average demo playtime: ~60 minutes
We’re especially looking for feedback on:
- Combat feel / difficulty
- Creature capturing & usefulness
- Exploration flow / pacing
- Performance / bugs
- Overall “fun factor” and first impressions
Thanks for checking it out, any feedback is super appreciated! 🙏
Now the number of 2-point cards that the AI currently has will increase as you progress in the game.
You can also adjust the difficulty in the options menu if is too much frustrating in the beginning.
Additionally, there is a feature that allows you to see which card the AI will place next, disabled by default.
Thank you for your feedback. I uploaded a new update taking in account what you said.
- Now the difficulty progresses as you progress in the game in terms of life, number of cards and quality of enemy cards
- I have put another slot for the enemy, so you can see which card will be placed next: no more surprises, you will see what is coming
- Healing potion now completely heal
Let me know if things are improved and happy playing!
Thank you for the feedback!
To apply the health restoration, you must check the card's requirements. If they are not met, the effect will not be applied.
You can use money to purchase new cards. This introduces a choice in the game: do you become stronger in the current run or save up for new cards?
Enemy kills are merely a resource used during a run; there are no permanent upgrades associated with them at the moment.
Blast radius affects every weapon by altering the size of projectiles and the scope of explosions. I suggest using it with weapons that have a "radius" effect rather than with projectile weapons. :)
I don't want to give away too much about unlocking characters, but you'll need to collect something on the map. :)
Regarding progress, unfortunately, whenever I upload a patch to the browser version, it seems to get wiped out.
I'm addressing this issue. However, if you download the PC version, you won't encounter this problem, even if you download an updated version in the future.
